OF THE BACHELOR THESIS Name: Martina Neradová Supervisor: Mgr . Věra Pitrmanová Opponent of the work : Title of the thesis: Physiotherapy as a part of rehabilitation in patients after severe demage of brain Abstract of the thesis: This thesis deals with patients after severe brain damage, particularly in the most represented diagnosis of stroke and brain damage as a result of cranial trauma. The thesis highlights the important role of rehabilitation and through physiotherapy interventions I am trying to promote the concept of comprehensive rehabilitation. In the theoretical section I briefly summarize the problems of stroke and cranial trauma, further I deal with the role of physiotherapy in the context of a comprehensive rehabilitation and outline a list of the most frequently used methods in physiotherapy of patients after severe brain damage. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the specific problem of the patient, pain of a hemiparetic shoulder, which restricts the patient not only functional but also during other therapies. As a part of the current physiotherapy I have applied the current therapy through the electrotherapeutical device Rebox and watched the intensity of pain of the hemiparetic shoulder and the effect on the function of the upper limb. Key words: brain injury, stroke,...
Influencing the gait pattern in hemiparesis patients after stroke employing some aspects of Bobath concept.
Srp, Martin ; Pochylová, Barbora (advisor) ; Pitrmanová, Věra (referee)
The title of the work: Influencing the gait pattern in hemiparesis patiens after stroke employing some aspects of Bobath concept Abstract: The aim of this work is to objectify the success of the Bobath Concept in treatment of the gait pattern in hemiparetic patients after stroke. Objectification is performed by two standardized tests evaluating the quality and function of the gait - The Timed up and go test and The Rivermead visual gait assessment. In the theoretical part, the author discusses general problems of stroke, definition and general characteristics of the gait, stereotype of pathological gait in hemiparetic patients, the theoretical basis and fundamental principles of The Bobath Concept. The author is also giving examples of toolless for evaluation of the quality and function of the gait, represented by Timed up and go test, six and twelve minute walking test, Rivermead visual gait assessment, Rancho Los Amigos gait analysis form. The practical part describes the methodology of the work, used methods, the main question of this work and the definition of the research sample. It also consists of case reports and therapeutic algorithms of two hemiparetic patients after the stroke. The gait is evaluated before and after the therapy using standardized tests and the main question of this work is...
The usage of Manual physiotherapeutical correction method in the therapy of the radicular syndrome of lower limbs
Rotová, Kristýna ; Muchová, Renáta (advisor) ; Pitrmanová, Věra (referee)
This Bachelor thesis will compare the examination process and kinesiological analysis of two patients diagnosed with root syndrome of the lower limbs using the MFK method. I will examine whether the results in the MFK system confirm the kinesiology analysis, and whether using the MFK physiotherapy method on symptoms associated with root syndrome of the lower extremities can have a positive effect. MFK method is relatively new in the field of physiotherapy. I would therefore like to examine the above mentioned neurological diagnosis to see whether the myokinetic activation examinations with visualization of the motor system as used by the MFK method provides benefits to examination methods used in physiotherapy. Root syndrome is a disease based on structural damage to the spine, spinal canal or intervertebral discs, accompanied by functional subjective and objective manifestations. I have narrowed the selection of subjects to include patients with root syndrome caused by prolapsed intervertebral discs. Pain is the primary symptom, but root syndrome is accompanied by other sensory and motor symptoms. The patient's subjective symptoms significantly quality of life, and so will be an important indicator of the effectiveness of the applied methods.
The incidence of vertebral problems for doctors, nurses, caregivers and technicians, design physiotherapy intervention. A subjective approach to working with a physical therapist.

1 Title of bachelor thesis: The incidence of vertebral problems, for doctors, nurses, caregivers and technicians, design of physiotherapy intervention a subjective approach to working with a physical therapist Abstract: Bachelor thesis devoted to the topic of vertebrogenic difficulties with health staff, specifically with the group of doctors, nurses, caregivers and laboratory technicians, and closer to exploring their subjective approach to the cooperation with a physiotherapist. The theoretical part is focused on description of the anatomy and kinesiology of the axial body, also on biomechanics and disc plate. A separate chapter consists of the deep stabilization system and the next chapter focuses on the issue of vertebrogenic difficulties and their treatment. The first part of the practical part consists of research in the form of a questionnaire survey, which points to the frequency of occurrence of back pain in health personnel. Selected twelve of the respondents from each group of doctors, nurses, caregivers and laboratory technician. Compared are as individual respondents, or groups between themselves. The second part contains three case reports of patients with back pain. For each of them was carried out input and output tests, six therapies, and finally the appreciation of the patients ' access...
