Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Pipková, Zuzana ; Kouba, Jiří (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the information system of the company GALATEK s.c., which focuses on the production of paint booths. The first part contains theoretical knowledge of the problem addressed. The second part analyzes the information system and the overall situation of the company. The third part of this work includes my suggestions for improvements as well as the changes to the information system’s weaknesses that I have found in the analytical part.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Evaluation of Quality of Customers
Pipková, Zuzana ; Šebestová, Monika (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
Presented diploma thesis is involved in the issue of customer evaluation of GALATEK a.s. The main company’s manufacturing program is production of machines for surface treatment. Fuzzy logic models will be used to evaluate customers. This models will be crated in software such as MS Excel and MathWorks MATLAB. First part of the diploma thesis contains theoretical summarization needed to understand whole issue. Basic information about company are presented in second part of the diploma thesis. Third part contains customer evaluation based on co-operation with company, outcomes and proposals which are results of customers evaluation.
Distribution, binding and mobility of Ni in soil in the closed Ni mining area in the vicinity of Křemže
Pipková, Zuzana ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vaněk, Aleš (referee)
Soils in the vicinity of Křemže in the Southern Bohemia are developed on altered ultrabasic rocks. The occurrence of Ni-hydrosilicate and Fe-rich ores in this area lead to their mining mainly during 19th century, then during the World War II. This thesis is focused on distribution and availability of Ni, Cr and Co and accompanying elements in soils at former mine and prospection sites (2 soil profiles and 32 topsoil samples at historical surface mine area). In all soil samples, physico-chemical parameters (pH, TOC, TS) and bulk concentrations of Al, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were measured. In addition, deionised water, DTPA and EDTA extracts were used to determine the (bio)availability and mobility of these elements. Some of trace elements were found in elevated concentrations in the mining area topsoils; mean Ni: 1175 mg/kg (range 545-2849 mg/kg), mean Cr: 416 mg/kg (240-849 mg/kg), mean Co: 127 mg/kg (65-238 mg/kg), mean Fe: 49155 mg/kg (30460-113800 mg/kg), mean Mg: 12648 mg/kg (8795-18770 mg/kg) and mean Mn: 1480 mg/kg (1028-2319 mg/kg). In soil profiles the Ni availability decreased with depth. In the uppermost organic O horizon in forest soil profile, 19.5 % and 23.8 % of total Ni was extracted by DTPA and EDTA, respectively. The extractabilities are decreasing down to mineral...

Electronic Communication vs. Communication Face to Face
Pipková, Zuzana ; Krtilová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Bystřický, Jiří (referee)
This thesis deals with new forms of communication particularly electronic ones. The main goal is to distinguish electronic communication from face to face communication in a way that differs from traditional media theories. By using examples of the most important medium in electronic communication, Internet, it is shown that nowadays we have such forms of electronic communication that surpass the traditional classification of oral/written communication, immediate/mediate communication, face to face discourse/computer discourse. Critical views of significant media theorists are presented as well, mainly of Jean Baudrillard, Paul Virilio, Marshall McLuhan and Vilem Flusser which are also related to the best known and used examples of new forms of communication (e-mail, chat, Facebook, Youtube, Skype, blog etc.).
