The monastery - a vision of the future

I very sensitively approach the restoration of the monastery, as this valuable monument deserves. Although a significant part is in ruins and many parts of the building and structure have already been destroyed, I try to respect the original form of the building in order to preserve its authenticity. And only with the necessary modifications I offer my project of restoring the monastery. The concept of my thesis is to create a 4-star hotel in an abandoned Capuchin monastery and give this knowledge a new life in a new modern direction.

Modernity and the Holocaust

This graduation project is devoted to the creation of a museum in Brno devoted to the Holocaust and the history of the Jews in Moravia. The site is located in the center of Brno on Benešova Street. The site is currently occupied by a parking lot, which formerly served as a parking lot for an old bus vocalist. This project is inspired by the great and complicated history of the Jewish people, as well as the main language of this nation. In my opinion, nothing reflects the culture and identity of a people better than language. For this reason, it was inspired by Hebrew. For a people who have lost their statehood, who have not lived in their historic homeland for several thousand years, but who have retained their religion and national identity, this is an indication of strength of spirit and unity.
