Laboratory equipment aimed on the all-pass filters
Lokaj, Jakub ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Theme of bachelor thesis is design and realisation of allpass filters. It consists of using pasive and active components in design of allpass filters and followed by realisation in laboratory equipment. Functionality was verified in simulating software LTspice and SNAP3v2. In real implementation were used integrated circuits such as TL071, AD844 and LT1228 for CCII+, OTA and design with op-amp. This bachelor thesis includes concept of laboratory equipment, where will be compared functionality of allpass filters with simulated results
Analysis and circuit realization of special chaotic systems
Rujzl, Miroslav ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with analysis of electronic dynamical systems exhibiting chaotic solution. In introduction, some basic concepts for better understanding of dynamical systems are explained. After introduction, current knowledge from the world of circuits exhibiting chaotic solutions are discussed. The best-known chaotic systems are analyzed numerically in Matlab software. Numerical analysis and experimental verification were demonstrated at C class transistor amplifier, which confirmed the chaotic behavior and generation of a strange attractor.
Audio amplifier with PWM modulation for laboratory measurements
Holub, Josef ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper deals with the theoretical analysis of the essential parts of amplifier operating in Class D. It describes the principles and the relationship between the individual blocks. The second part deals with the design of the block connection of a switched amplifier for a laboratory device. The design part contains calculations, justification of the selection of individual components and integrated circuits and schematic connection within the individual blocks. Some blocks are simulated using PSpice and FilterFree. The work also deals with the structural design of the jig and the creation of a 3D model. The annex is contained overall diagram of an amplifier and a complete reference material for production.
Single stage amplifiers employing JFET and MOSFET for educational laboratory purposes
Šimek, Dominik ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of measuring box for amplifiers with unipolar transistors, which will be used within laboratory classes. The point of the thesis is to create a complex instrument, which offers system used for measuring of essential characteristics of common-drain, common-source and/or common-gate amplifiers. It will help students to more easily understand principle of unipolar transistors. The printed circuit board will contain amplifier circuits with MOSFET and JFET transistors, with option to switch between measuring N-type or P-type channel transistor. The design itself is substantiated by analysis of essential theoretical properties of unipolar transistors, by numerical calculations, and simulations, which are also parts of the thesis.
Analogue comparators for educational laboratory purposes
Šafařík, Daniel ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Domanský, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design complete solution for assembling of laboratory task on comparators topic. This thesis contains an introduction on comparators and a subsequent analysis of some of their basic functions. Thesis also contains design and simulation of the individual parts in the OrCAD program, from which the final product for laboratory task is constructed. There is also design of the printed circuit board along with its measurements. Another part is the process of designing and verifying its functionality. A sample protocol is prepared for the laboratory task.

Audio amplifier working in class AB with 400W output power
Kopic, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The content of the thesis is the theory related to low-frequency audio amplifiers that is summarized in a separate chapter. This section describes the division of these amplifiers according to various criteria, as well as their working classes and parameters that determine their behavior. In addition, this thesis contains a description of the principle of the function of the selected class AB amplifier, which is divided into individual functional blocks and completed by the addition of speaker protection circuit. Criteria of selection for important chosen components are mentioned in appropriate chapters and supplemented with data from components datasheets. The output results of the simulations are always commented and compared with the calculated values at the end of the relevant chapter. The attachment of the thesis contains PCB design for the device realization. The correct operation of build device has been verified and measured.
Class D audio amplifier for laboratory measurements
Svorad, Adam ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis delves into a field of Class-D audio amplifiers. Keystone part of the work summarizes theoretical knowledge focused on measuring techniques of lowfrequency amplifiers and audio amplifier design. A deeper insight into building blocks of a general Class-D amplifier is also presented. Gained erudition is applied in the second part, which is devoted to a construction of the device. Exceptional attention is drawn to the design of robust external driver and sophisticated output analog filter. Blueprints required for a PBC layout are provided as well as outputs of performance measurements taken of a fabricated prototype.
Utilization of circuit elements described by fractional-order dynamics in analog phase shifters
Zedka, Radim ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This document deals with fractional passive dipole structures, their mathematical description, design methods and practical use with respect to limited frequency range. Two fractional dipole design methods are being described while one of them is used for practical realization of three fractional dipole samples. All of them are well measured and documented. Analog phase shifters implementing this fractional-order dipole are being discussed theoretically and they are practically constructed and measured. Concisely the fractional-order two-port design method implementing biquadratic filters is described.
