Primary prevention problems of socio-pathologic phenomena at secondary schools

Dissertation brings summary knowledge about theory and practice of primary prevention realization of socio-pathologic phenomena within secondary school environment. Its target is to contribute to current discussion about effective prevention form in school and to enrich prevention cognition for empirical research findings. First part of dissertation is based on knowledge from several branches of science, nevertheless unifying view goes from sociál pedagogy range. Author deals with problems of socio-pathologic effects, their theoretic defínition and description of these effects that are endangering secondary school pupils. Practical part of dissertation analyses and compares approaches and problems, which are occurring in European and Czech context within primary prevention realization in secondary school. Third part is empirical research, which is set out for two phases. In the first phase is point of interest the teacher, which as an prevention methodist guarantees compliance with targets, content and prevention methods of prevention in the school. In the second phase then dissertation deals with views of secondary school pupils on selected socio-pathologic effects and prevention programs, which are in use at the schools. The final thesis is theoretical-research. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the soil from the point of view of its importance for man and introduces its types. From the point of view of soil cultivation it introduces two different technologies of its processing, namely plowing and deep loosening. It shows types of cultivators and plows. The research part analyzes the results of the research obtained by practical measurement of yields in the spring barley sowing using both tillage technologies. It compares these technologies in terms of economy, impact on growth, soil and yield.

TEM aplicator for microwave hypertermia

In my study is designed, realizated and tested microwave applicator with TEM wave to be used for local microwave treatment. Applicator is determined for hypertheia system LUND 1040. Working frequency is 434 MHz and dimension of aperture is 100 x 75 mm. For optimization of the discused applicator SEMCAD EM Simulator. Effective area of tretament of by me designed applicator is 55%. It is better of more than 15% in comparison with conventional waveguide applicators.Applicator has been found conveniet for patient treatment.

Systemic arterial hypertension and strain

Bachelor thesis "Systemic arterial hypertension and exercise" deals with hypertension and exercise. Physiology of the circulatory system, as well as blood pressure regulation and measurement is covered in the first section. The next section discusses definition, classification, and subtype classification. Furthermore, the thesis discusses pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of hypertension. The main part of the thesis covers exercise blood pressure reaction as a diagnostic tool for determining risk for future hypertension. Moreover, exercise and physical activity is described as a therapeutic tool in blood pressure reduction. This section compares and determines the intensity, frequency, and period of endurance and resistance training needed for an optimal blood pressure reduction. Influence of a controlled training on habitual physical activity in patients with type 2 diabetes

Diploma thesis "Vliv řízeného tréninku na habituální pohybovou aktivitu pacientů s diabetes mellitus 2. typu" in the theoretical part deals with Type 2 diabetes (DM2T), its complications and possibilities of its therapy. Emphasis is put on physical activity as the main non-pharmacological mean influencing insulin resistance. The basic health aspects of physical activity, general recommendations and specific sport activities for DM2T patients are mentioned. We also focus on potential risks related to physical exercises. Furthermore, we examine habitual physical activity, meaning energy expenditure in daily activities. The objective of the practical part of this thesis is to determine the level of habitual physical activity of DM2T patients and to show how it is influenced by stationary bicycle exercises. The impact of regular physical activity on the health indicators, physical fitness and anthropometric parameters, is examined. The sample of patients includes 20 individuals with DM2T, who have completed insulin therapy and currently are cured with peroral antidiabetics and regime measures. Pedometer and International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) are used in order to monitor habitual physical activity. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
