TITLE: Possibilities of interactive whiteboard in education ABSTRAKT: The dissertation is focused on the usage of didactic technology especially interactive whiteboards in education of mathematics in elementary and secondary schools. The theoretical part deals with particular types of whiteboards and software of different companies. It introduces the basics and possibilities in use of interactive whiteboard in education of mathematics. The dissertation also contains processed and practice-tested lessons created by ACTIV Studio software for the chosen subject of the mathematics curriculum - Sets. This effort should be a good inspiration for all pedagogues in their initial work with interactive whiteboards. The usage of the Interactive www environment in the constructive and project oriented education

Hlavní těžiště diplomové práce spočívá v navržení interaktivní webové aplikace, resp. prostředí, podporující projektové a konstruktivní vyučování s využitím multimediálních technologií. Práce se v první části zabývá jednotlivými aspekty edukačního procesu ve vztahu k ICT, na jejichž základě jsou vymezena teoretická východiska návrhu aplikace. Následující část práce předkládá pohled na vlastní návrh, strukturu a funkční princip navrhované výukové aplikace. Práce neopomíjí fázi ověření zmíněného návrhu skrze nasazení aplikace do výuky formou výukového projektu. Z vyhodnocených informací a zkušeností během nasazení do výuky vycházejí jak náměty k dalšímu rozpracování výukové webové aplikace, tak shrnutí možností využití tohoto prostředí ve výuce, především na druhém stupni základní školy.
Development of interactive education objects in authoring environment

This thesis elaborates on the domain of authoring tools and the development of interactive educational objects. The focus lies in finding of suitable authoring tools for interactive objects composition and designing original objects with interactive board support. The first part concerns the relationship between ICT and current education, maps available authoring tools and elaborates on the domain of interactive application development, as a base for definition of theoretical basis for the actual object design. Next part describes the design of structures and functions of these objects and their pilot deployment or validating of their proper features. Gained feedback and experiences from pilot deployment is fundamental for debugging, tuning and extending these applications. Internet and mathematics education at the primary school level

This master thesis explores possibilities for computer support of mathematical education. In the beginning introduces the basic theory, especially the curriculum of mathematics for elementary schools and mathematical games. Then provides standards for the evaluation of educational web pages and evaluates the contemporary state of educational internet projects. As the output, the least used areas are identified and subject of the game is selected among them. The practical part describes educational game development in the Macromedia Flash environment. FEM model of piezoelectric MEMS filters

This thesis focuses on simulation modelling of a piezoelectric MEMS filter, which may be used as a part of cochlear implant. A model of this filter is created in the programme ANSYS. A research on experimental cochlear implants and materials suitable for this application is also included.
