Because of my great admiration for thc composer's music and work as his sonatas for violoncello and piano interested me for its sincere depth and modesty, I have written this work : Johannes Brahms and his instrumental concerts. In my opinion, I consider it to be more attractive to present my point of view in these instrumental pieces because of their importance of the structure and contents. In this work, I try to analyse and outline closer the contents of Brahms's instrumental concerts by comparing two recordings of Brahms's Double Concert for violin, violoncello and orchestra in A minor op. 102.I would like to draw the atention to the fact, that Johannes Brahms is one the best composers of all times and his music even increases when looking on his profound personality.

Luboš Sluka - Sonata for violoncello and piano

This theses is disserting on the Sonata for violoncello and piano by czech contemporary composer Luboš Sluka. In addition to curriculum vitae of the composer and characteristic of his composition style a treatise on the history of the work may be found.Further, a detailed musical and theoretical analyse of the composition is supplied together with the audit of different recordings and scores. Conclusion of my theses is fact that sonate for violoncello and piano composed by Luboš Sluka is a well-balanced work from all points of view - expressional, compositional, instrumental and contentual,too.

The person of violoncellist Hanuš Wihan, history and culture of his time

Hanuš Wihan, a concert artist, teacher, and Czech chamber music promoter, the founder of the Czech Quartett and an important representative of the Czech culture of the end of 19th and beginning of 20th centuries is considered to be one of the most outstanding personalities among the worldwide known cellists. The thesis is to remind us of his great personality and work while reflecting the contemporary cultural and historical context of those times. It presents Wihan´s life from his early childhood and years of study, his fifteen year long contract abroad, his exuberant solo and chamber concert career in Bohemia as well as abroad and his teaching practice as a professor of violoncello a and chamber play at Prague Conservatoire. The thesis focuses on Wihan´s work with the Czech Qartett and is partly also dedicated to the relationship between H. Wihan and A. Dvořák and other contemporary artists. Finally the thesis covers the period of Wihan´s stay in Brandýs nad Orlicí.

Violoncello Sonatas by Bohuslav Martinů with a special focus on Sonata No. 3

My bachelor's thesis deals with three sonatas for violoncello and piano by Bohuslav Martinů, a distinguished Czech composer. In the first part, which gives his brief biografy, I mention crucial moments in his life.Knowledge of these facts is essential for understandingof Martinů's musical expression. The second part describes the circumstances and the time when the sonatas were composed. Included in this part are eminent cellists to whom the sonatas were dedicaded. The third part of my thesis gives an analysis and score extracts of Sonata No. 3 for violoncello and piano.

Spectator care in czech and slovak football

Main goal of this thesis is to analyze the environment of Czech and Slovak football in the area of spectators care. The theory part is focused on theories, which refer to this problem. These are: specifics of the football market, economics of football clubs, theory of marketing mix and fan definition. At the beginning of practice part, the thesis analyzes and compares attendance rate in top leagues of both countries. Next chapter deals with factors, which effect the attendance rate. Its goal is to demonstrate the dependence between attendance rate and achievements, rival attraction and weather. Marketing mix is being applied on football clubs in the next chapter. That means, how are individual football clubs in both countries using marketing mix components (price, place, product, promotion) in order to attract as many spectators as possible. In the last chapter, the thesis analyzes the results of survey, which took place among the representatives of individual clubs. In conclusion, situation in the area of spectators care in both countries is being compared and evaluated.

Charakaterizuje Írsko a sústreďuje sa na tie aspekty, ktoré najviac pomáhajú priblížiť súčasnú ekonomickú situáciu a postavenie. Je tu tiež rozobratý ako historický tak aj hospodársky vývoj, pričom veľký dôraz je kladený na liberálne zmeny a hospodársky rast v 90. rokoch. Analyzuje postavenie Írska v EÚ a hľadá oblasti, kde by Írsko mohlo ísť Českej republike príkladom.
