Analysis of development concerning use of electronic marketplaces in Ministry of Transport
Jahoda, Pavel ; Petera, Jiří (advisor) ; Grosz, Jan (referee)
This bachelor diploma thesis is focused on an analysis using the electronic market system by means of the time series theory. The analysis covers a mentioned process of public procurement made by contract owners registered in Tendermarket electronic marketplace and researches closely the public procurement process at Ministry of Transport. An analysis of eight different indicators, of which the total defines the resulting trend of this significant method use applied during public funds gaining, is included. Given the volume of public sector contracts, the electronic form of tendering is one of important means to reach an efficacy of expended funds. The result provides particular indicator values of the marketplace use and a future prognosis.
Statistical analysis of the airline transport by appropriate quantitative methods
Dostálová, Hana ; Petera, Jiří (advisor) ; Lenka, Lenka (referee)
The theme of the air transport is becoming increasingly popular among people nowadays. Therefore, this Master thesis deals with a statistical analysis of the Czech airline Czech Airlines j.s.c. The system of timelines from 2003 to 2014 was used to analyse the number of transported passengers regarding passenger traffic and the number of transported goods and mail within the air freight transport. The theoretical part of the paper is based on a literary review where basic terms of the air transport and timelines are described. The aim of the analysis is to apply particular trendy features on indicators of the research. According to the selected trend, predictions for the following the three seasons are made. Subsequently, the statistical analysis is evaluated and recommendations aimed at improving the future situation of the company are made.
Statistical analysis of the Aviation by appropriate quantitative methods
Kadleček, Václav ; Petera, Jiří (advisor) ; Lenka, Lenka (referee)
This Masters Thesis is divided into two parts. A theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part a history of aviation in the Czech Republic and its development is described as well as the division of the aviation and the airspace of the Czech Republic, the demarcation of airports and global events which have an influence on aviation in the Czech Republic. A practical part is focused on the analysis of time series of the capacity utilization of selected Czech airports and the airspace of the Czech Republic from the point of view of the number of the aircraft movements. In this part a proportion of the individual airports in full use of the airspace of the Czech Republic is expressed and the elementary characteristics and descriptive statistics are calculated. Further on an influence of the mentioned global events on the development of on selected airports and in the airspace of the Czech Republic is examined. Last but not least the development of the capacity utilization of the selected time series for 2015 is forecast followed by assessment of the airports´ capacities with an evaluation whether the capacity of the selected airports is sufficient or not.
Production of digital photography
Friedlaender, Dan ; STECKER, Martin (advisor) ; PETERA, Jiří (referee)
Detailed manual for processing of digital files - from electronic capturing of image, through image formats to the pre-press.
Revitilisation of the Daguerreotype Process
Ackerman, Jan Luca ; PETERA, Jiří (advisor) ; BORÝSKOVÁ, Štěpánka (referee)
The aim of this research is to revitalize the daguerreotype process and prepare an applicable manual for the consistent preparation of quality daguerreotype plates for the further applied research of this photographic material. Many (collecting) art and historical institutions have important holdings in this medium, and, with the presently increasing interest in photography, (and daguerreotypes in particular) and its history, daguerreotypes will be in need of professional evaluation and treatment more often. Daguerreotypes are the oldest, least understood and most complex systems of the photographic medium to date, and currently there is no accepted method of cleaning to prevent further deterioration. This research summarizes a brief history of the daguerreotype, past and current conservation practices, current preventative care, and most importantly, a method of creating reliable test material to study this phenomenon.

What a comparison of the basic principles, techniques and the use of photographic chips
Pelech, Lukáš ; Stecker, Martin (advisor) ; Petera, Jiří (referee)
Final thesis deals with mapping, explanation and compare digital technologies used by photography. Exceptionality and uniqueness of my thesis is especially leaned on untraditional approach to the whole topic. The majority of comparing of those technologies is based on numbers which are understandable only to mathematician, but not to photographers. This thesis is aimed at answering questions connected with digital chips and compare technologies not only according to technical parameters but especially according to visual examples. Aim of this work is describing market with digital technique, types of sensors, comparing technical and visual quality. This work could be useful for casual users and understandable for each professional photographer or students of photographic school.
