DICOM protocol analysis and its utilisation in image signal processing
Valouch, Lukáš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes DICOM which is a summary of standards for handling, storing and transmitting information in medical imaging. This standard is developed by organizations ACR and NEMA, it is very large file and it contains 18 of documents which are an actual version of this norm. The last norm was got out in 2008. The most important part of this format of date and files is data image processing so called off-line communication. It follows description of implemented application in C, C++ languages by the help of Imebra library. This Imebra library is free in terms of license of GNU GPL. The resultant program is standard of DICOM from, which is described above. This program is concerned with imaging of 16 bits of dept on 8 bits of dept of display devices, for example common computer displays. This application is able to display several layers of DICOM’s pictures. Each of layers contains separated bites which are presented by importance of levels.
Multimedia player controlled by hand gestures.
Novotný, Luděk ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Olejár, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the hand gesture detector. Theoretical part is devoted to the discussion of current segmentation and detection methods. They were chosen those, which would work best as the controlling methods of multimedia player. The proposed algorithm is described with the help of flowcharts. Detector is written in Java language with the use of OpenCV library. Background subtraction segmentation method and convex hull approximation are used for gesture detection. Detector can distinguish between six gestures and track the center of palm. Finally, the detector was connected with proposed and implemented document, image and multimeda files browser.
Intel Integrated Performance Primitives and their use in application development
Machač, Jiří ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Malý, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the presented work is to demonstrate and evaluate the contribution of computing system SIMD especially units MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3 and SSE4 from Intel company, by creation of demostrating applications with using Intel Integrated Performance Primitives library. At first, possibilities of SIMD programming using intrinsic function, vektorization and libraries Intel Integrated Performance Primitives are presented, as next are descibed options of evaluation of particular algorithms. Finally procedure of programing by using Intel Integrated Performance Primitives library are ilustrated.
Image classification using artificial intelligence
Labuda, Adam ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis address the issue of classification and feature extraction of imagesfrom image. In JAVA platform will create an example that loads a set of images, extracted from symptoms with the help of artificial intelligence provided by the thesis supervisor. Artificial intellihence assumed kind of image. Finally the results are compared. }
Synthesis of Sound from Images
Zavřel, Petr ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of sound from images. Before looking into the actual conversion of data, it takes into consideration the correlation between sound and images. Colour models of pictures used for the extraction of image data suitable for conversion into sound are examined here. Subsequently the work introduces methods for creating sound and changing its basic parameters. In order to present a suitable representation of sound, the work also explains the basics of music theory and methods of sound synthesis. The first part of the thesis offers two fully-fledged solutions using independent applications created in the MATLAB environment, where the basic principle is the division of the image into lines and the use of granular synthesis. The second part of the thesis describes the solution of the third application created in C++ language, where the emphasis is on adhering to the principles of music composition.
Real-time Facial Feature Tracking
Peloušek, Jan ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis considers the problematic of the object recognition in a digital picture, particularly about the human face recognition and its components. There are described the basics of the computer vision, the object detector Viola-Jones, its computer realization with help of the OpenCV libraries and the test results. This thesis also describes the accurate system of the facial features detection per the algorithm of the Active Shape Models and also related mechanism of the classifier training, including the software implementation.
4K real-time video encoding using NVENC technology
Buchta, Martin ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Kříž, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on real-time 4K video encoding using NVENC technology. First chapter describes the most used video codecs H.264 and HEVC. There is an explanation of the principle of graphic cards and their programmable units. Analysis of the solution of open source Video Codec SDK is also part of the thesis. The main focus of the thesis is an implementation of an application which can handle 4K video encoding from multiple cameras in real time. Performance and qualitative tests were performed for application. Results of these tests were analyzed and discussed.
Deep learning based sound records analysis
Kramář, Denis ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problem of audio-classification of the chainsaw logging sound in natural environment using mainly convolutional neural networks. First, a theory of grafical representation of audio signal is discussed. Following part is devoted to the machine learning area. In third chapter, some of present works dealing with this problematics are given. Within the practical part, used dataset and tested neural networks are presented. Final resultes are compared by achieved accuracy and by ROC curves. The robustness of the presented solutions was tested by proposed detection program and evaluated using objective criteria.
Gestural Interface for Computer Control
Burdík, Vojtěch ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the relatively new computer branch – a computer vision. Work is concentrated on object recognition, localization and reaction to specific movements. The aim is to build a program that will be able to use hand movements to control computer, to the gesture as defined by the fingers and palms respond and make it the event. The objective should be achieved without the use of special sensors or more cameras, but only with one common webcam. For the image processing function from OpenCV library were used and program was built. Evaluation of function is based on functional verification in practice, evaluation of speed, accuracy and quality of object recognition. Following the scheme, how could program for gestural controlling the computer should look, was created, and then his realization in a simple program was made. This program is able to recognize the object in an image, in this case a hand, and through an evaluation of its movements control cursor on a computer with a possibility of simulation pressing the left mouse button. Program continuously allows the documents to scroll horizontal and vertical direction. The program is very robust and work with him is very simple.
Wireless robot control using mobile platform
Matuška, Jakub ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for robot’s omnidirectional movement control using mobile platform. Implementation includes an Android application, used as user interface, as well as robot–side Python program for controlling movement and sending RTP stream to Android application. User can control robot’s movement using two virtual joysticks. Raspberry Pi was used as the control unit. The application has security module. Pipeline-based multimedia framework named GStreamer was used to implement RTP steaming. This paper describes necessary theory first and then introduces basic building blocks used in creation process of the application.
