The bachelor degree thesis "Morality and sport - the issue of doping " tries to describe one of the up-to-date sport problem which is doping. It also tries to show what doping is, what leads sportsmen to its abuse and what are the effects of using illegal backdrops applications. Generally the doping sportsman is not the only one who knows about abusing of illegal substances, this problem concerns sportsmen as well as trainers, doctors, officials and other people who proceed in the area of sport. The thesis puts mind to human health and its damaging under the influence of doping substances and applications and shows how clerical documents see this problem.

ETIC IMPLICATIONS OF COMMANDMENT OF LOVE ACCORDING TO VERITATIS SPLENDOR AND DEUS CARITAS EST Comparation of interpretations of universal etic norm by John Paul II and Benedict XVI in quoted encyclicals The purpose of my thesis is to analyse and compare Veritatis splendor and Deus caritas est in order to defend the basic statement that the commandment of love is the only one norm of the christian etics and every other norm is based on it. A complex of questions comes out from the interpretation of the commandment of love and it can be divided into two branches 'why' and 'how'. There are three main reasons why to live under the commandment: love is aim of liberty, love fulfils the law, love has its origin in the truth. The love according to these three columns leads to salvation. The answer how to live under commandment of love is in the following of the example of Jesus Christ. The analytic and the synthetic part of my thesis are framed into seven themes: 1) Love, 2) Neighbour, 3) Commandment of love, 4) Law, 5) Liberty, 6) Truth, 7) Following. The final thesis "Human Cloning and Value of Humanity in the View of Theological Ethics and Ethic of Responsibility" discusses the ethical context of human cloning. It pertains to the issue of the moral legitimacy of reproductive and therapeutic human cloning. Both these methods are connected to the utilization of human embryos. Are men authorized to manipulate human embryos in this way and is it a responsible action in the long term? This thesis aims to answer these questions including respect for the dignity of human life and its preservation.The thesis presents important inventions for biomedicine, and in this context tries to gain a glimpse of an image of contemporary man, interprets relevant legislation and discussion on the status of the embryo. The basis of theological ethics is the base of an ethical thinking which is emphasized by the assumption of responsibility for the life of future generations. František Jirsa: Církev a film, diplomová práce na KTF UK, Praha 2007 - resumé. V první části práce je popsán vztah církve k filmu ve světle církevních dokumentů. Církev se zabývá filmem od jeho vzniku až do současnosti. Film jako obrazové médium je velice působivý a na některé skupiny ve společnosti může mít velký kladný nebo záporný vliv. Sám o sobě není ani dobrý ani špatný, je nástrojem v rukou producentů, režisérů, herců a dalších profesí podílejících se na výrobě filmu. V první polovině dvacátého století byl film nejmasovějším druhem zábavy, proto je mu věnována v církevních dokumentech značná pozornost. Od padesátých let 20. století nastává celosvětový rozvoj televize a film je tak částečně odsunut do pozadí. Zatímco v první polovině dvacátého století církevní dokumenty především varují před špatným vlivem filmu a přinášejí konkrétní doporučení, jak se před tímto vlivem bránit, po Druhém vatikánském koncilu se začíná klást větší důraz na možnosti využití filmu k pastoraci a evangelizaci. Církevní dokumenty nás vyzývají, abychom filmy vnímali v kritickém duchu, abychom přemýšleli a snažili se porozumět tomu, co vidíme a slyšíme, a naučili se filmové umění správně hodnotit. Vzhledem k tomu, že narustá pocet rozvodu a s tím související pocet nevlastních a neúplných rodin, snižuje se snatecnost, pribývají alternativní formy rodinného usporádání, dochází ke snížení porodnosti apod., je treba rešení této problematiky venovat patricnou pozornost. Zminovaná problematika se týká celé spolecnosti a pochopitelne rovnež i církve, nebot práve církev je obhájkyní a zastánkyní tradicního pojetí rodiny založeného práve na manželství. Prestože církev musí nejspíš prijmout skutecnost, že vedle tradicního modelu manželství budou ve spolecnosti existovat i jiné formy partnerského usporádání, je jejím úkolem snažit se klasický model manželství muže a ženy obhajovat. Jako jediná úcinná forma se pravdepodobne jeví prevence formou pastorace. Církev v rámci své pastoracní cinnosti muže doprovázet jednotlivce i páry, jež se ocitli v nestandardních životních situacích, a rovnež muže doprovázet krestanské manžele, kterí pak následne mohou být svedectvím pro celou spolecnost. Advertisment and the Child's Development - the Negative Influence of Some Media and Advertising on the Development of Children in Respect to the Moral Character

Resumé bakalářské práce "Reklama a vývoj dětí" V mojí bakalářské práci jsem se zaměřil na negativní vliv některých reklam a také médií, zejména pro dospívající. Nejen těch reklam, které jsou takto označeny, ale také článků nebo jevů v televizním vysílání, které podsouvají "tzv. styl života" a mohou jako reklama působit. Svůj prostor dostala i skrytá reklama. Vycházel jsem jednak z vlastní zkušenosti, (jsem otcem tří větších dětí) dále z výzkumů a zkušeností odborníků na dětskou psychologii a psychiatrii a také odborníků v oblastech reklamy a médií. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována sexualitě v médiích pro dospívající a možný vliv pro nahlížení na sexualitu. V textu jsou také uvedeny konkrétní příklady ze života. Jednak z rodinného prostředí, ale také z prostředí výchovných ústavů. V práci jsem se také pokusil uvést možnosti, jak mohou rodiče své děti vést ke správnému nahlížení na reklamu - tedy nositelku informace o výrobku a ve většině případů jako nadsázku. Zmínil jsem jednak střídmost v užívání médií, zejména televize a počítače, zvláště pokud je připojen k síti internet a také alternativní způsoby zábavy.

"From despair to expectation" The quick development of science and technic during the last century brought a variety of new technologic strategies in many fields of human activities. The face transplantation is the last innovation of transplant surgery branch. The aim of this operation is to help seriously mutilated people (e.g. face tumors, injuries) and bring them back to common life. But on the other hand, these new methods entailing many ethic, medical and legal consequences. In this study, I tried to describe the short story of eleven patients who were operated as the first in the world. Be based on their tragic life experience, I tried to vindicate the decision of both patients and specialists to undergo the realization of this serious surgical intervention. The conception of freedom in Bernhard Häring

Anglická anotace (English annotation) Name of thesis: The Conception of Freedom by Bernhard Häring The thesis presents the concept of significant moral theologist Bernhard Häring and essential perspectives of his moral theology. The main theme of the thesis is the essay about his theology of creative freedom in fidelity and responsibility and about his posititon with regard to the moral perfection of human beings. Häring brings the synthesis of the fundamental ideas of moral code: Freedom and submission or the limitation of freedom by faith. The author is concerned with the question: What is the meaning of freedom in Christ and what is the importance of the influence of the world and education in the formation and maturation of human beings and in their growth in fairness, freedom and love. The event of freedom (liberation) is for him identical to the highest revelation of the freedom of God: To the death of Christ on the cross. That's why Häring begins his teaching about christian freedom in effort of understanding of Christ in which he sees as the real sign and source of freedom. Häring emphasises the importace of the community of the faith and dialogical aspect of faith on the horizontal and vertical level.
