Influence of viscosupplementation on cartilage lubrication
Ondra, Martin ; Horák, Zdeněk (referee) ; Ranuša, Matúš (advisor)
This work deal with the determination of the effect of viscosupplementation on the lubrication of articular cartilage in the beginning phase of osteoarthritis. This effect was evaluated based on the development of CoF measured by a tribometer in configuration pin-on-plate. The tribological model of incipient osteoarthritis was simulated by using two articular cartilages lubricated with osteoarthritic synovial fluid to which viscosupplementation agents were added. These preparations differed mainly in cross-linking and molecular weight of hyaluronic acid (HA). Measurements have shown that viscosupplementation may be effective in the beginning phase of osteoarthritis. The efficacy of viscosupplementation preparations with cross-linking HA was significantly higher compared to the efficacy of viscosupplementation preparations without cross-linking. These results support the use of viscosupplementation to delay the advanced stage of osteoarthritis.
Construction of buildings and their alterations
Ondra, Martin ; Staša, Josef (advisor) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee)
Construction of buildings and their alterations Abstract This master's thesis is concerned with the analysis of the primary regulation of realization of structures and their alternations, which is a part of the public construction law. The main goal of this thesis is to identify problems associated with the current legal regulation of realization of general structures and their alternations, which, in selected cases, is followed by the effort to find their solution de lege ferenda. The secondary goal of this thesis is a critique of the second major amendment to the Building Act from 2017 and the identification of what problems it has brought including the assessment of whether is actually fulfilling its stated goal. The master's thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter one deals with the sources of law and the fragmentation of implementing statues. Chapter two analyzes the basic concept of structure as well as other basic concepts related to the topic of this thesis. Chapter three contains an analysis of the organisation of building offices, selected issues related to the performance of...

Design of oxygen filter for 3D metal printer
Ondra, Martin ; Paloušek, David (referee) ; Suchý, Jan (advisor)
In medical branches alloys on the basis of titanium are commonly used, however, in some of the medical applications it emerged that the usage of alloys on the basis of magnesium is more convenient, for example in orthopaedic surgery for the implant fabrication. Managing of processing of magnesium using the technology Selective Laser Melting would enable to produce complex structures supporting the production of cells and recovery of bones. One of the problems when processing the alloys on the basis of magnesium is the production of residual oxygen. This problem can be solved with the usage of an oxygen filter that is integrated in the circuit of inert atmosphere. This bachelor´s work deals with the construction of this filter for 3D metal printer SLM Solutions 280HL v1.0. This device enables to filter up to 123 m3/h of the gas with the output purity 100 ppt (1,0 × 10-8 %). The device separates oxygen continuously during the whole manufacturing process. The construction of the device enables the attachment to other SLM Solutions company machines.
