Fuel change for hot water boiler

This thesis deals with the fuel change for hot water boilers with wattage of 116.3 MW. At first a stoichiometric calculation is drawn. Calculation of pressure loss in pipeline follows. Consequential part elaborates on calculation of parallel connected heating surfaces following with a draft of regenerative air heater Ljungtröm. Conclusively, a calculation is carried out to verify the functionality of the serial connection of the heating surfaces.

The proposal of measurements to fulfill emission limits for boiler of power unit 210 MW

This master‘s thesis deals with denitrification of brown coal-fired boiler of electric power plant. First chapters describe technical characteristics of the boiler and possible measurements which would lead to lowering NOx emissions. In order for boiler to meet emission standards valid from 1.1.2016 flue gas treatment by selective catalytic reduction is proposed. Main part of the thesis is thermal calculation of the boiler with modifications necessary in order to apply SCR. The aim of calculation is to determine flue gas exit temperature and temperature at catalyst area in order to assess the suitability of proposed modifications.

Steam boiler for biomass

The aim of this diploma thesis is the construction design of the steam boiler burning biomass according to the set parametres (450°C, 5,2MPa, 5,83kg/s).There are main parts to solve and design: stoichiometry, energy balance, combustion chamber, heat-delivery surface and strenght calculation output chest of superheater.

The primary goal of this thesis is to determine the enterprise value of KRONOSPAN OSB, spol. s r.o. to the date 1. 4. 2015 for the company management, who wants to manage this value in terms of maximum fulfillment of the primary objectives of business owners. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the approaches and methods that lead to the valuation of the company. The practical part includes a description of the valued company and its internal potential, financial and strategic analysis including analysis of external potential and SWOT analysis, financial plan and the final valuation of the company. For assessment are used these methods: discounted free cash flows to the firm, book value and comparable companies. The enterprise value of KRONOSPAN OSB, spol. s r.o. to the date 1. 4. 2015 is 8 610 092 tis. Kč.

The analysis of location factors for medium and large companies in the Vysocina Region

The work deals with the analysis of location factors for medium and large companies in the Vysocina Region. The main objective is to identify and categorize the location factors of medium and large companies in the Vysocina Region. A sub-goal is to identify and categorize the factors, which from the standpoint of the companies examined are missing in the region. In the theoretical part of the development of localization theory and location factors are defined and classified. Also includes a brief socio-economic characteristics of the Vysocina Region. The practical part is focused especially on the analysis of survey results. The data source was a survey conducted among companies which are based in the Vysocina Region, according to their total number of employees (50 and over). At the coclusion of the work are identified and tested new-found (tradition of manufacturing) location factors, which are then categorized into three groups. 1) Generally significant factors. 2) Factors relevant only for certain size categories or sector companies. 3) Minor factors. Factors, which from the standpoint of the companies examined are missing in the Vysocina Region, are also similarly categorized into three groups.
