Analysis of packaging technologies for packaging soft drinks

The main objective of this thesis is an analysis of packaging technologies for packaging of soft drinks from aspect of suitability of logistics operations, logistics costs, respecting the customer's needs and the impact on the environment. Secondary objective will be the formulation of the critical factors determining the current packaging technology in the beverage industry in order to be able to propose measures to ensure the optimization of producing and packaging soft drinks. Results of the thesis came to the fact, that it would be appropriate to create a completely new system of producing and packaging soft beverages. Beverage itself would be produced by postmix technology. The postmix device would be placed directly into the markets. The customers will have the possibility to choose to use their own bottle or bottle provided from the selling machine attached to the postmix device. This means that the bottle will be used more times and the final price of the product will decrease. The customer will pay only for beverage itself not for the bottle, which costs make more than 3 times more than own beverage. Using this technology is mainly suitable for newly incoming sellers, which do need to gain an market advantage and also decrease the starting costs.

Problems of drug addicts in the prison of Vinarice

In recent years drugs have greatly influenced criminal activity, when drug addicted criminals after their sentence find themselves in prison. Programs of treatment of these persons are implemented in prison, which are directed at their correction, prevention of recurrence and re-integration into normal society. The main objective of this thesis is to map the specific services provided to drug addicted persons in prison in Vinařice. With regard to the set goal, I chose a qualitative research method when the technique of semi-structured interviews was used to collect the data. Respondents who participated in research were situated in the drug-free zone department of Prison in Vinařice. The research has shown that services provided to drug addicted persons are accepted positively by the respondents, they have their justification and they lead to successful re-socialization. The following hypotheses originated from the results of my paper: H 1: Illegal drugs are more obtainable in the environment of ordinary prison sentence, compared to separate drug-free zone. H 2: The specific services provided to drug addicts in the prison environment are accepted positively by the prisoners. H 3: Majority of convicted in the drug-free zone department committed crimes under influence of drugs, or to obtain funds for drugs. But the question remains, how people with drug addiction, namely the respondents who participated in research, will behave in society after their release from prison, when they have served their sentences. The stated facts could be used as a possible topic for further research.

Criminal activity releated to the use of illegal drugs

In my thesis I deal with illegal drug use leading to criminality. Drug abuse has been a debated issue recently because drugs are omnipresent in our society. Illegal drug use has been a serious problem worldwide. Due to its geographical location, shortly after 1989 and after the fall of the Iron Curtain the Czech Republic has become both a transit and a destination country for all sorts of drugs within a short time. The objective of my thesis is to examine, describe and analyse the overall criminality in the Prague area in 2005 {--} 2007. The other concern of my research was to determine the drug addicts´ contribution in proportion to the overall criminality. I set three hypotheses: H I : The most common drug addicts´criminal activity is theft. H II : Most drug addicted criminal offenders are male. H III : The most common drug being abused is pervitin. The thesis is divided into two parts {--} theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the development of the drug scene in the Czech Republic and crimes committed by drug addicts are described. I also give information on detection, investigation and criminal sanctions in criminality caused by drug addicts. I gathered the data from specialist literature. In the practical part I used the technique of the secondary statistical data analysis. I analysed the statistical data from 2005 {--} 2007 obtained from the Police of the Czech Republic Headquarters. The research was conducted by the quantitative questionnaire method and the data obtained were analysed. The data were put into charts and diagrams. All the hypotheses suggested were confirmed. The objective of my thesis was accomplished.

Okrouhlík. Excavation of Mesolithic settlement area in the Kamenice river canyon

This paper introduces a group of newly discovered Mesolithic rockshelter sites, clustered at the confluence of two rocky canyons in the sandstone region of North Bohemia, Czech Republic (Dolský Mlýn, Šamanská rokle, Prasečí převis, Ferdinandova soutěska, Kostelní rokle). The Okrouhlík rockshelter, representative of the Early Mesolithic stage, was excavated almost completely, demonstrating internal within-site patterning: a central hearth, system of surrounding kettle-shaped pits, and two large, stone-filled, marginally located hearths. Analyses of the environmental data, fauna, and raw material, typological and use-wear analyses of lithic artifacts are included.

Gravettské osídlení spodní vrstvy Kašov 1

The settlement of eastern Slovakia during the Gravettian and Epigravettian was concentrated in the surroundings of the Zemplín Hills (open-air site of Kašov I), where two cultural layers (Gravettian/Epigravettian) were found. According to the analysis of lithic industry, radiocarbon dating and lithostratigraphical position, the lower layer is dated to the Late Gravettian horizon with rare shouldered points, to the period directly preceding the LGM. In raw material composition we observe a domination of extralocal, “northern” flint from southern Poland over the local obsidian. This phase of the site occupation is interpreted as a seasonal base camp, probably connected with migration of the Late Gravettian groups in connection with hunting seasonal shifts between the territory north of the Carpathians and the interior part of the Carpathian Basin.

Je zaměřena především na dobrovolné nástroje, které mohou společnosti zavést nad rámec plnění legislativních norem. Mimo to vysvětluje proč firmy na českém trhu zavádějí normy řady ISO 14000, jejich spokojenost s nimi a problémy, se kterými se setkali při jejich implementaci.

Marketingová analýza hotelu Andel`s Prague

Práce je rozdělena do dvou navazujících částí. V první teoretické části jsou shrnuty základy, na kterých jsou marketing a marketingová strategie v cestovním ruchu vystavěny. V následující analytické části se pak teorie stala základem praktické analýzy marketingové strategie hotelu andel`s Prague. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou věnovány situační analýze, segmentaci poptávky, marketingovému mixu cestovního ruchu a doplňujícími návrhy.
