The Factory of Dreams - Books and Films by Karl May in Bohemia during the 20. Century
MARYŠKA, Jaroslav
The diploma thesis deals with the work of German writer Karel May, and so with film adaptations of these books in Czech context. The work reflects Karel May´s personage through the 20th century. The first part pays attention to May´s Czech editions from the first ones in the publishing house Jos. R. Vilímek, to the half of the century when the ?mayovky? came out in the publishing house Toužimský&Moravec. The second part presents selected receptions of May´s work by publicly active people. The next part mentions the origion of film adaptations in the sixties, the last part deals with their presentation to Czech cinemas from the sixties to the eighties of the last century.
Optimization of horse nutrition
MARYŠKA, Jan
This thesis deals with sport horse feeding. Suitable horse nutrition is essential for healthy and correct development of the whole horse organism. Every horse is different regarding its characteristics, work load, age, and health condition and therefore it is necessary to approach individually to its feeding. To set an optimal feeding batch so that it meets all requirements on energy, nutrients, and the right ratio of minerals and vitamins is not easy. The aim of this thesis is to analyse feeding practice in a stud farm focusing on feeding batches of sport horses. The work is divided into a theoretical part including basic descriptions of the horse digestive system, nutrients, and horse forage, and a practical part including the methodology used for the analysis, the description of the analysis when the forage used in the stud farm was compared with recommended optimal nutritious values for horses. The thesis conclusion summarises findings of the conducted analysis together with a recommendation of optimal feeding of the horses in question.
Reception of the work of Karl May in Bohemia during the twentieth century
MARYŠKA, Jaroslav
This bachelor thesis deals with the German writer Karl May. This year, 170 years have passed since his birth and 100 years have passed since his death. The thesis gives out a comprehensive May´s biography which aims at the first half of writer's life. The second part of the thesis deals with the relationship of Karl May to the Czech environment, both to Bohemia, where Karl May spent several weeks of his life on various visits, and to the Czechs themselves, especially to his Czech publisher Josef Richard Vilímek junior. In the third and final part of the thesis several Czech admirers of Karl May reveals why the German writer became their lifelong hobby.
Vývoj metodiky identifikace a matematického modelování proudění a geochemické interakce v rozpukaném prostředí kompaktních hornin: Etapová zpráva Programu státní podpory výzkumu a vývoje MŽP za rok 2003
Česká geologická služba, Praha ; Drábek, M. ; Bláha, V. ; Breiter, K. ; Gabašová, A. ; Havíř, J. ; Kovář, L. ; Vohralík, M. ; Maryška, J. ; Severýn, O. ; Pačes, T. ; Rukavičková, L.
Cílem projektu je vývoj komplexní metodiky zjišťování a parametrického vyjádření proudění podzemní vody a geochemické interakce v puklinovém prostředí Českého masivu. Metodika zahrnuje metody terénního a laboratorního výzkumu a matematické modelování. Hlavní oblasti plánovaného výzkumu jsou 1. Terénní hydrodynamické a interferenční testy na výzkumných vrtech hlubokých cca 300 m. 2. Stanovení hydraulických, geologických a geochemických vlastností rozpukaných kompaktních hornin a podzemní vody na základě syntézy a analýzy výsledků terénních a laboratorních výzkumů. 3. Matematické modelování proudění a transportu v ucelené hydrogeologické struktuře puklinového prostředí granitového masivu s dvojí pórovitostí, s využitím výsledků terénního a laboratorního výzkumu.
Mathematical Models of the Underground Water Flow and Transport of Contaminants
Maryška, Jiří ; Mužák, Jiří ; Rozložník, Miroslav ; Tůma, Miroslav
Mathematical models of unsteady flow and transport in underground porous media. The governing equations in a compact form. They are discretized by Rothe method in time and by mixed-hybrid finite element method in space. Methods which provide an easy and robust way to solve both the flow and transport problems with mixtures of reacting contaminants. Basic components of such approach.
