Using methods of dramatic education in the framework of the topic "People and Time" in the grade school

The degree thesis is the suggestion how to use the methods of the drama teaching in the thematic sphere People and Time in the first degree of the primary school. This thematic sphere is the part of the educational field The Man and his World. This delimitation is embodied in the General Educational Programme for the Basic Education. Five educational blocks for the particular classes of the first degree are treated here in which especially the methods of the drama teaching are applied. The block for the first class focuses on the season, the block for the second class on the family and family celebrations. Time as the physical quantity is discussed in the block for the third class. The block for the fourth class is the introduction to the teaching about the Middle Ages. The block for the fifth class recapitulates the history learning and the term ?the future? is treated here as well.
Using Methods of Dramatic Education in Teaching Social Sciences in Elementary School

Thesis dissertates about the particular possibilities how to use the methods of dramatic education in teaching social sciences in 2nd grade in elementary school. It describes state-of-the-art in dramatic education, briefly informs about its methods and techniques, and also about another effective forms of the education that can be used in teaching social sciences. In practical part the review of the subjects suitable to be processed using the methods of dramatic education is suggested. It comprises several detailed analyzed lessons additionally.
Moral education as a part of dramatic education

The diploma work is oriented on problems of ethical education associated with education of drama. It justifies and declares in which ways and why it is so important to integrate ethical education into the content of education of drama. It illustrates progress effectiveness of drama education in connection with moral development. It documents qualities of drama education towards gaining required competence in The General Educational Programme for the Primary Education. In the practical part it shows concrete draft of drama education lessons or units which aim is to support the moral development of children in the third, fourth and fifth year of primary education.
Dramatic education and a word. How to lead (children) to the art of word usage

The theme of this work is words in the process of drama, working with children and young people. It is mainly about the question how to encourage children to create - to use the words on the stage. Theoretically it is based on knowledge and conception of the word from the linguistical and psychological point of view. It is also based on artistic disciplines which work with the word that involves literature, drama and theatre. Then the work is about the relationship between the word and improvisation as a key metod leading to the understanding of the value and the place of the word in the whole koncept of theatre. From the practical point of view the whole work is created from the expiriences of work undertaken with students from the high school.
Working with a theatre mask in children´s educational process of kid´s theatre groups

This study deals the working with a theatre mask in children´s educational process of kid´s theatre groups. The main goal is to precisely describe sense and usability of a mask, it´s specifics and principles of using in teaching process. This study also analizes practical work with a theatre mask in real situations, especially using of a larval, an expresive and a neutral mask. Characters of each kind can be naturally found there. There are also specific paints of platiny with mask and special cattegory of natural learning. The study contains a methodical guide-lines and practical exercises.
Drama Methods in teaching History of Jews at Grammar School

This thesis focuses on use of drama in teaching History at Grammar School, particularly within the topic of Jews living in Czech Lands. A short essay opens up this thesis, discussing advantages and disadvantages of use of the drama methods as well as main approaches to drama work used in History lessons. The core of this thesis is based on records of two structured dramas including their historical background information. First ?Hilsneriade ? is devoted to the problem of anti-Semitism in Czech Lands at the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century and also looks at a superstition of ritual murders. Second ? Jews after Second World War ? is based on life of Jews and their struggle after surviving Holocaust.
Celts in our self or How to teach drama-education in the age heterogeneous group

The task Celts in our self or How to teach drama-education in the age heterogeneous group describes three days drama-education project Celts in our self. I realized this project with age heterogeneous group of pupils from theatre group in art school in Nové Strašecí. I want to refer to different specificity, advantage and disadvantage of work with age heterogeneous group in drama education. I used professional literature, my pedagogic experience and experience with realization of other projects including realization of project Celts in our self. Selection of useful topic is one of potential problem in education with a heterogeneous group. I want to validate if the topic Celts is useful topic for education in age heterogeneous group and public in drama education too. I completed record of project Celts in our self about informations from history of Celts to be possible to repeat this project by this task many times.
DRAMA AS A TEACHING SUBJECT AT THE SECOND LEVEL OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

The thesis is meant for those interested in teaching drama in education, for students and teachers, as well as for headmasters. It deals with problematic of drama in education at the second level of elementary schools. Its objectives were to map the situation at elementary schools at the city of Brno, to specify factors that prevent or enable, in practice, successful use of drama in education in educational process at the second level of elementary schools, and also to seek possibilities for increasing utilization of drama in education?s potential at the second level of elementary schools. The author uses as the starting point her research carried on at the city of Brno?s elementary schools. Data acquired from 83 schools are summarized and presented in tables. Besides this numerical outcome, the author records teachers? and headmasters? experience with drama in education as a separate subject at the second level of elementary school as well as with introduction of drama in education into schools. In addition to the overview of factors that influence success of implementation of drama in education, the thesis proposes, in its final part, a generic plan for incorporating drama in education into the elementary school?s life. The author utilized both information acquired by research and her own experience as source for construction of the plan.
Using drama at the elementary school to teach legends

This bachelor thesis contents preparation and realization of a project including historical topics. Within the project there were used drama method and techniques. The project was led in three independent lectures with two various groups of third grade pupils of an elementary school in Litvínov ? Hamr. The main goal of the project was to show regional and national history to the children using legends about Grand Father Czech, castle Ryzmburk and The Golden Third.
