A case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosis with axonal injury

Adéla Markvartová Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosis with axonal injury Objectives: Theoretical analysis of after diffuse axonal injury and elaboration of physiotherapy procedures. Methods: This bachelor thesis was done with the patient's consent within practice at Military university hospital Prague at the rehabilitation department from January 12th to January 6th 2015. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and special part. The theoretical part includes basic characteristics of the illness, ethiopathogenesis, incidence, diagnostics, treatment and options of physiotherapy methods. The special part contains the after diffuse axonal injury patient's case concept, processes and the effects of his therapy. Results: Patient's condition, daily activities, movements, spatial orientation, muscular strength and physical condition have improved after the therapy. Adéla Markvartová Title: The views of the runners on the middle and long distance to regeneration in the sport Objectives: The aim of diploma thesis is to detect views of runners on the middle and long distance to regeneration in the sport in terms of their use due to gender and to specialization of runners. Methods: Diploma thesis is divided to two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is about regeneration in sport and the practical part talks about opinions of of runners on the middle and long distance to regeneration in the sport. Compares each methods of regeneration due to gender and to specialization of runners. It was used nonstandard questionnaire, during championship of the Czech republic in athletics (from 18th to 19th June) in Tábor. Number of 110 runners on the middle and long distance were interviewed. Questionnaire was filled by 91 athletes, 46 men ad 45 women. Results: Research showed that runners realize importance of regeneration in training process. Men are more confident about positive influence of regeneration in performance and also in injury prevention. The application of breathing training in female runner ̓ s preparation

Tittle: preparation Student: Adé M kv vá Supervisor: P D . A š K , P .D. Consulting: P d d d influence on actual condition of the female runner. Methods: work is made as a case study. The subjekt of this work one person, who was training respiratory muscles with POWERbreathe system during one month (31.10. - 30.11. 2012). The subjekt was also undergoing monthly running programme and observation of body composition. Results: This is my own intraindividual observation, so I admit, that there could be possible distortion . I ' k . I found out, that in one mezocycle, respiratory muscle became stronger and efficiency of the respiratory system was higher. In addition the basic anthropomethric data was changing, but I d d ' weight, active body mass or body fat. During the reaserch there was no change of trainig parameters.
