Urban concept The theater has been situated in the city center in tehe urba block, which is an endpoint of Plečniks urban axis. Main point of urban-design idea is an extention of Plečniks axis, which connects Trnovo church and Kongresni trg square, and creating connection between the square and foot-path inside the block, which connects Slovinska street and Wolfova street. The seccond point was the minimalisation of demolitions of existing buildings. Architectural concept The theater building consist of two cubic objects, whose are in interaction. Contrast between heavy and closed volume of theater and light volume of restauration with fully-glassed wall, which connects iterior space with entrance exterior space. In the stone cubus of theater have been designed only three chinks, whose admoniches to entrance. The idea of the building consists in surprising difference between close window-less exterior of the house and sunlight-full interior. Thi idea has been used for designing of all layouts.

Zdeněk Makovský Date: May, 2009 The aim of this work was to create a project of National theatre in Slovenia. In the playhouse is placed two stages, The main – traditional is designed for 500 people and smaller- experimental for 200 people. In the building is also placed cofeteria, exibit area and the whole background of the theatre. The intention of my work is trying to interconnect traditional and experimental theatre and project it in the architecture.

Architecture, emanating from philosophy of design, shows the concept of arrangement of eight volumes with a free pattern which generates the maximum amount of open and light space. Structure of the plot is composed of seven apartment buildings and solitary villa. Design of residential complex consists of clear line of public and semi-public space, which complements urbanism of this design. Mass of objects respects the surrounding scale and thereby does not interfere with the surrounding nature and buildings. Functional filling includes a residential function with using of the surrounding area. The layout of the building is designed as a three tracts with four above-ground floors and one underground floor. In the first three above-ground floors are designed two housing units and in a fourth above-ground floor is one housing unit. Urban Risen Solution parcel located on the street Pasture in the city of Brno chimney. The property is located on the edge of the city district and directly continues the surrounding forest, which is on the east side. The plot is an avenue of chestnut trees that proposal preserves intact. Oklí are good amenities. In its narrowest surroundings there are elementary school and kindergarten with their priľahlími Sports and satellites family townhouses on the south side of the property. After the eastern and northern boundary leads IMPORTANT relaxing walking routes on which the proposal responds through-beds, and a "restoration" of pastures, which once was located here. Land would extend that oľúbenú Walking and served by community residents as well as the city of the chimney. The project also own community náveznosťou room with a plate of street furniture. Architectural design Material objects based on the elongated shape of the land and is divided into three apartment buildings. Distributes land to the "street" and the "grazing". The volume responds to building orientation sides are angled wings housing the south and west. All the apartments are so perfect sunlit and overlook the "pasture". On the north side of the building they are arranged in the form of communication zasklennej galleries. The porch with loggias flats made up of separate steel structure, which forms the form of these apartment buildings. The main module becomes one living room, ensuring good housing variability. The building is located only forty apartments of sizes 1 + kk to 5 + kk apartment with terrace. Parking is in the combined form of overhead and underground parking. Building Solutions The building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton with dimensions of 8600 mm x 6600 mm with stiffening communication core. The shell is insulated with thermal insulation with a thickness of 200 mm. Area building openings is minimized on the north facade and vice versa is open to south and west facades, which benefits the passive energy gain. These construction holes are filled with high quality aluminum windows and doors with Triple glazing. On the frame is attached a separate steel construction porches and balcony. This concept allows a perfect insulation shell fired by a separate steel structures unheated porch and balcony, and hence a considerable degree of energy efficiency.

Residential Complex on the street Pastviny in the city of Brno-Komín is designed in the place of current allotments. Plot of land, surrounded on the south by catalog terraced houses, is planted in a shallow depression and to the east rises towards the Palacky hill. The main idea of the project is to create a residential structure of rather smaller scale, responsive to the terrain and its surroundings. The design uses the principle of combination of two types of volumes: the accent (higher part with different heights) and the interval (invariant one-storey volume). It applies to three-quarters of the land, remaining quarter complements the parc at the prospect of leading the Svratka valley. Fourty homes offers the possibility of peaceful housing for small or large families as well as couples or individuals. Clusters of houses clearly define the public spaces that encourage social interaction of locals. While inversely arise courtyards and gardens on the other side as a purely private spaces.

Proposal of the residential complex at Pastviny concentrates on forming of pleasant housing in a nature environment with high quality, in the city. Basic of the concept was to offer to the future residents comfort of private inside courtyards/ gardens and public space for everyday activities and meeting at the same time.

This design is based on the site's strong potential in regards to its attractive location near Brno city centre and at the same time its proximity to nature. The solution of volumes results from an effort to create a system of public through private spaces while maintaining the continuity of the whole. This residential complex can offer apartments of all sizes, from flatlets to five bedroom flats and even houses. It also provides its neighborhood with new possibilities to shop and to spend time outdoors.

The locality is one of the most desired in the city of Brno and its outskirts. My goal was to create an enclosed city block (a district in a district), where the neighbours know each other and therefore create a strong community. To ensure some degree of privacy I have divided the continuous longitudinal house block, which highlights the descend of the land, into separated groups of 3 to 6 terraced houses. To the groups I have then assigned shared gardens which together give impression of being one unit. The plot itself has the biggest value in todays state. The end of the village seamlessly turns into forrest which makes up for a barrier of some sort. The quality of the location lays in the contact with the forrest. That is the reason why I have decided to lower the building area under the visual horizon and keep the gardening colony, although on the roofs of the buildings.
