System for monitoring of devices connected to the computer network
Macků, Jan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the web application for monitoring of the network devices. The thesis describes the design and functionality of the web interface that is used for fast and simple monitoring of the connected devices in computer network. The work also addresses the security of the web interface and the design of database structures. Further, the work describes briefly the characteristics of SNMP protocol and other important tools for obtaining the monitored data. The API of the web application is described in detail, including hints for building stand alone applications based on it. Work also contains a brief user guide for end users.
Detection of ionize radiation with Geiger-Müller tube
Dědina, Radim ; Macků, Jan (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This work deals with problems related with detection and measuring of the ionisated radiation. First part of this work is devoted to theoretical problems of detection, particulary to measuring with Geiger Muller tubes. Second part of the work contains proposal of electronical circuit using Geiger Muller tube as well as description of results experimentally acquired while using the detector, which was manufactured according to the proposed scheme. On the basis of those results it appears that proposed apparatus can be used for significant indication range extension.
Návh konstrukce křesla pro seniory
Macků, Jan
Master's thesis deals with the issue of seating for the elderly. The goal is the analysis of seating for the elderly and creating structural design chairs for the elderly. The beginning of the thesis is about demography and about important information regarding elderly, their habitation, psychology, health and properties of seating specified for them. Next, the thesis deals with market research. Survey in retirement homes has the goal find out features about seating furniture in retirement homes and find out information from clients and nursing personnel about satisfaction with seating furniture and requirements for seating furniture. In the end of thesis the informations are completely evaluate and used for create a custom structural design of furniture element.

Specifics of harvesting technologies in Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) forest stands managed using clearcut and shelterwood system
Vicherková, Nikola ; Štícha, Václav (advisor) ; Macků, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis concerned the findings about mining technologies using in forest stands of the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), which are forest managed using clear-cutting system and shelterwood system. To obtain the needs informations and datas were used informations from another issues from works next authores and simultaneously were used owns terens works, which were watching using mining technologies in Scots pine forest stands. There were watching differences the mining technologies between clear-cutting forest system and shelterwood forest system and simultaneously there influence to getting dendromasis and timing demanding. Terens works were in locations Židlov and Skelná Huť, which are under management of VLS ČR divize Mimoň.
Comparison of the Performance of Individual Wood Logging Methods
Pudlo, Pavel ; Macků, Jan (advisor) ; Štícha, Václav (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to perform literary research on the topic of the productivity of individual wood logging methods for forest cover and verify this productivity by comparison of the time dimensions either by using the harvester or working with the woodcutters. The main contribution of the thesis research results are own measurement. Measuring of the productivity of individual wood logging methods was carried out in the conditions given by the method cut to length by salvage cutting, that launched because of hit by bark beetle or strong wind. The measurement was carried out on five stands with harvester and on two stands with woodcutters. It was a measure of one harvester operator and four woodcutters. The measurement was done with the help of cameras that caught the working times of woodcutters and the harvester. The resulting times, due to the productivity and stem volume of the trees, recorded times by harvester were better and for that reason that method had proven to be more effective. In one of the monitored stands the effectiveness has not been demonstrated, because the operator has not logged in this forest cover enough m3 of the wood and the work was, therefore, loss making and time consuming. By the work of the woodcutters has the efficiency and shorter working times showed in two stands, where the measurement was carried out. Their productivity has been effective there, for example, with regard to the low number of trees and the larger crop density, the harvester technology would not be efficient.
Analysis of the Damage to Forests in Logging with Selected Logging Methods
Duffek, Petr ; Macků, Jan (advisor) ; Štícha, Václav (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was a summary of a literature review dealing with the impact of logging by chainsaw on the environment. The processing of this topic was preceded by the description of the construction and history of the chainsaw, the treatment with this tool, and the chainsaw maintenance and safe work with it. Further, using chainsaw in forestry was presented and the damage occuring in forest ecosystem components after logging were highlighted. In conclusion, the origin and the extent of damage on the environment were described and processes eliminating these losses as much as possible were designed.
Comparison of forest harvesting in Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) forest stands managed by clear-cut and shelter-wood system
Kříčková, Barbora ; Štícha, Václav (advisor) ; Macků, Jan (referee)
The presented paper summarizes the findings of logging in the Scots pine forest stands. The main objective of this work was to compare the impact of logging on the forests managed using clear-cut or shelterwood system. To obtain the data there were conducted fieldwork and monitoring of the occurrence and extent of damages of forest stand caused by logging the Scots Pine. The case study examines the damage to vegetation due to logging.
Simulation of Production Conditions in the Production of Timber with Harvester Technology
Rouč, Zdeněk ; Macků, Jan (advisor) ; Štícha, Václav (referee)
Bachelor's thesis describes the using of harvester technologies in wood processing. The thesis presents the possibility of using simulators to teach operators and forest mechanics. Practical part of Bachelor's thesis is to measure the real vegetation analysis and the possibility to simulate analogous stand in the simulator Terrain Editor and comparison of obtained results. Using the simulator allows training of operators and forest mechanics for extreme situations.
Harvesting of pine resin – historical overview and the possibility of future use
Bunda, Richard ; Štícha, Václav (advisor) ; Macků, Jan (referee)
Mining of resin represents a long forgotten ancient craft that used to be one of the most desirable crafts. The way of living was hard, just because the workers did not make much profit. Knowledge about this field was essential, and anyone who wanted to nurture this craft, had to pass a test of expertise. The resin was one of the finest raw materials in many different employment sectors. The resin had its place in the health sector, because it has medical effects, and it is used even nowadays, although not in such quantity as earlier. It is possible to prepare a range of medicinal products from the resin. Today, mining is classified as an extinct craft, but there are still fields that require the use of resin. It is possible that the forgotten craft will not remain forgotten forever.
