Current Problems of Czech Medical Assessment Service and Suggestions for Possible Solution

The aim of the thesis is to identify all current problems of The Medical Assessment Service and to suggest possible changes and recommendations that could make the system more effective. In the theoretical part is used the concept of the welfare state and points out its crisis of efficiency. Furthermore, the development of the field of Assessment Medicine and its current form was described. In the analytical part was selected an analysis of the information content of documents, which helped to identify all problems and their gradual development. The analysis was also used to propose changes and recommendations. An expert interview was conducted to substantiate the results of the analysis.

Image, photography as a concept in elementary school education

Annotation: Macháčková, Z.: Image, photography as a concept in elementary school education [Diploma thesis] Brno 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of education, Department of Art, 114 p. Objectives: Based on both recommended and other literature, discuss the evolution of photography (analogue and digital photography, photographic types and genres) and hint at the specifics of photographic production in comparison with classical art media. Discuss the expressive possibilities of manipulated photography (PC photography editing, collage, photomontage, etc.), with attention to applicability of photography in elementary school education. Consider organic inter-discplinary relations between the art class and other classes. Design a didactic project for an art class, based on the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education. The project should employ digital photography as a specific and accessible art medium and should be practically validated. It should focus on experiments and etudes, in which students would use photography as an accessible tool to experience and create art. Results: The proposed project, based on digital photography as a device for art activities, has shown that photography can be practically and successfully applied in elementary school classwork. Librarian occupation focused on its real and fictional representatives

This thesis focuses its attention on librarian profession. It follows the development of librarian profession since its beginning to the present. The thesis is concerned with prestige of the profession and its image. It represents some of the Czech librarian awards and deals with their holders. It introduces leading figures of Czech and world culture, who worked in library during their lives. Finally, the thesis seeks to capture the image of a librarian in literature and film.
The analysis and the potential for developing tourism and recreation on the Croatian coast with an emphasis on water sports

The graduation thesis deals with the analysis of Croatian tourism with emphasis on water sports, specifically yachting. The first part is a theoretical part which concerns problems of geography of tourism. Next chapter entitled Presumptions for tourism in the Republic of Croatia, where they are applied to particular presumptions of tourism on the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The second part is based on an analysis of development and current state of tourism and recreation in Croatia, with a view to statistics of visit rate and statistics of accommodation. The fundamental section are chapters devoted to sailing and marinas on the Croatian coast. In the last part was the main task the analysis of marinas according to official statistics, to create own typology of marinas and to devise own route across the sites with quality conditions for sailing. The tables, graphs and maps, which serve mainly to demonstrate and clarify the findings are components this graduation thesis.
THE MEDIA AND GENDER STEREOTYPES

This thesis deals with gender stereotypes in media. It is divided into two parts, one of which {--} a theoretical part {--} presents several theorethical concepts of gender in advertisement and media by some experts like Erving Goffman, Judith Williamson or Libora Oates-Indruchová. This part deals also with problems of media education and opportunities for realization of practical exercises as far as gender is concerned. The second part of this thesis is created for a practical purposes. It consists of seven practical activities focused on gender stereotypes in media which can be used at primary school as a schoolwork. A practical exercises aims to extand a students` knowledge of gender stereotypes which are presentated in media and at the same time find out how these stereotypes are percieved. At the end of the second part is described a feed-back which will be gained at the primary school Bezdrevská in České Budějovice.
