Detector of Uniform Marker Fields for Windows Phone
Mašek, Jiří ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with the detection of Uniform Marker Fields and the position of a camera in a space. The steps of the UMF detection, the Windows Phone 8 platform, DirectX working and the concept of augmented reality are described in the thesis. Implementation and design of the demo application together with the whole architecture of the project is described in the thesis. The result of the thesis is an application using the UMF detector and plotting a 3D object into a scene. Finally the application is tested and evaluated.
GTD for Windows Phone 7
Mašek, Jiří ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with a Getting Things Done method (GTD) and its implementation on a mobile device with Windows Phone 7. In the first part the GTD method and the Windows Phone 7 operating system are described. Thereafter the charts of use and questionnaires are introduced from which an application design has come. The thesis continues with a description of the implementation part and finishes with a conclusion.
Trends in tree-ring width of treeline trees along latitudinal gradient from subtropics to the Arctic.
Zborníková, Kateřina ; Treml, Václav (advisor) ; Mašek, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is interested in a tree ring of trees at the treeline from subtropics to the arctic and the main aim of this work is to find if there is a trend in the tree ring width at the treeline along the latidunial gradient. The work/thesis focuses on conifers. The data were obtained from International Tree-Ring Data Bank database, article searches and from the internal workplace database. A total of 9859 annual ring samples were obtained from 153 localities in Europe. Trees of the genus Pine (Pinus), Spruce (Picea) and Fir (Abies) were selected, which dominate the europeans ecotones of treeline. After removing the age trend, the regression of tree ring width and the latitude, were calculated. The results showed that in most cases the tree ring width decreases with higher latitude. However, a small number of tree ring samples from latitudes around 55ř north latitude adds to the uncertainty of this claim.
The importance of dispather-assisted basic life support in the CPR
Holubová, Zuzana ; Schneiderová, Michaela (advisor) ; Mašek, Jiří (referee) ; Kupečková, Ivana (referee)
ANOTATION Zuzana Holubova The importance of dispather-assisted basic life support in the CPR Bachelor thesis deals with the importance of telephone-assisted CPR in the CPR. The theoretical part introduces the koncept of first aid, it is meaning and it is legislation. It focuses on cardiopulmonarz resuscitation in the light of the kontext of the formation and development of life-threatening conditions and introduces the koncept of telephone-assisted CPR and it is important role in providing basic life support. The focus is the empirical part, which is repared on the basis of quantitative research prepared by a questionnaire survey. The sample consists of 80 participants from non-medical public Hradec Kralove region, residing in the district of Nachod. The aim of the research is to map the importace of telephone-assisted CPR in the provision of basic life support.
Emergency Medical Service: Its History, Models and Development Trends in the Czech Republic
Kučera, Martin ; Lojda, Jiří (advisor) ; Mašek, Jiří (referee) ; Klicperová, Zuzana (referee)
Key words: emergency medical service, urgent premedical care, organization, technical conditions, statistics, analysis The topic of this bachelor thesis are historical developments of Emergency Medical Service (EMS) with a special focus on significant changes in its technical, personal and organizational arrangements on the territory of contemporary Czech Republic. The thesis major objective is to contribute to the discussion on the EMS current organization as well as its work effectiveness and reserves. Following this objective, the text is aimed at comparison of recent situation in selected regions and the Czech Republic as a whole. In particular it deals with current regional differences in the EMS technical conditions and outputs regarding urgent premedical care provision. Contemporary possibilities of the EMS evaluation and informational value of statistical data are examined and extensively discussed.
Factors affecting growth trends and climate signal stability in central European conifers
Mašek, Jiří
This thesis deals with the study of tree growth divergences, both in terms of climatic signal instability and the formation of subpopulations with different growth trends at one site (so-called individual growth variability, IGV). The aim of this work was to detect IGV and climatic instability and determine possible effects of geographical factors on divergence in forests of Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris) from low altitudes and Norway spruce (Picea abies) from the high-elevation forest, that is typical habitats of two important Central European conifers. For this purpose, the dendrometric parameters of all trees were measured at two sites in Kokořínsko and two in the Krkonoše Mts. Climatic instability was detected by moving correlations of site chronologies with climate. A paired t-test of climate-growth responses of all trees was used to determine the change in response between two time windows. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was used to reveal divergent growth trends within stand to develop responder chronologies. Variability was explained by correlations of z-scores of trees with individual conditions (topography, tree size, competition index). The results show that the reaction of trees to climate changes over time. In spruce, the limiting effect of summer temperatures has been recently...

Stanovení faktorů ovlivňujících výkonnost žacích strojů při údržbě travnatých ploch v komunální oblasti
MAŠEK, Jiří
This diploma thesis deals with the performance of small tractors in the maintenance of municipal areas and the determination of factors that influence this performance. The realization of the measurements took place on the own land in the village of Švábov. For measuring, I used my own mowers and lenders (from people) who have a machine for maintaining their own surfaces and machines with which they perform services in the maintenance of grass areas. All measurements were made on one plot to achieve as many similar conditions as possible.
