Action
Zakharova, Iryna ; MUSILOVÁ, Helena (advisor) ; MĚŘIČKA, Jan (referee)
My thesis is focused on the performance art. I am interested in the nature of the action, the environment in which the work is produced (including the author's intention), its socio-cultural impact as well as the spiritual and artistic role of the author. The text begins with an Angela's interview about art. Then I?m introducing contemplation, as a spiritual category, which defines the rhythm of social life. Contemplation as the interruption of normal course of things. I?m showing actions, examples of physical performance, which contains more artistic methods. However I try to challenge the definition of the action by mentioning various examples. I continue with the theme of the documentation, where for example photographs may be essential element for action to be truly done.

Zmudová, Žaneta ; MĚŘIČKA, Jan (advisor) ; GRYGAR, Štěpán (referee)
In my thesis I focused on the topic of the night in the Czech fine arts from the 19th to the 21st century. The aim of my work is not conduct a survey of the issues as a whole, it does not make efforts to be a historical outline, but the goal is to present a different conception of the night in the works of some selected artists. This text is concentrating on the works of artists who design the night in the landscape and urban sceneries. In every night scene we can see the light, either natural or artificial, which is the bearer of artist´s imaginings. The work goes from the introduction of the light and darkness symbolism throughout the era of the human history and physical essence of the light to the presentations of individual artists who reflect the night with natural kinds of light or the artificial ones.

Women in the Czech photogram
Šigut, Vladimír ; Musilová, Helena (advisor) ; Měřička, Jan (referee)
My bachelor thesis is focused on mapping of the circle of women artists using the photogram technique in the Czech environment. While the artists born on the beginning of the last century (Emila Medková, Běla Kolářová, Eva Fuková) used this newly accepted artistic technique only rarely, for the authors of the next generations ? Gabriela Kolčavová, Ilona Staňková, Jolana Havelková and Jindra Viková ? the experiments on photogram basis became the integral part of their work. Woman photographers and artists differ from their male counterparts namely in their topics that are usually more poetic, fragile and intimate. Very often they relate to their close family circle. In the course of my work I had a few very inspiring and resourceful personal meetings with the artists, or in the case of Emila Medková with the artist?s daughter Eva Kosáková.
