Advent hymnus in the liturgy of hours

The work Advent Hymns in the Liturgy of Hours, after defining terminology, describes in brief historic origins and development of the Liturgy of Hours and its theology. Origins of liturgical hymns are examined in the next part. The main part presents publication and commentary to four Advent hymns, two for the Lauds and two for the Vespers. The commentary reflects historical circumstances of the hymns' origins (final doxological strophas), theology of the Liturgy of Hours (trinitarian trait in the Liturgy of Hours and its hymns, interconnectedness with the Mass), and insertion into liturgical and chronologic times with their characteristic modes.

The film interpretation of the Gospels and their use during the religion teaching process Annotation Obsah této bakálářské práce je zaměřen na evangelia jako předlohy pro filmová ztvárnění a jejich využítí při výuce náboženství. Evangelium jako předloha pro film bývá velmi často zpracovatelnou látkou pro filmový scénář. Slibuje silný příběh o Ježíši Kristu. Záleží ovšem na režisérově pojetí osoby Ježíše, do jaké míry se filmový Ježíš líší od toho evangelijního. A od tohoto se odvýjí vyznění celého filmu. Film může sloužit jako pomůcka při výuce náboženství. Zařazujeme ho do metod názorně demostračních. Film, jak je známo rozvijí lidskou představivost - zejména u dětí. Při výuce náboženství pomohou filmy o Kristu si doplnit obraz Ježíše, kterého znají ze 4 evangelií. Jedna z posledních kapitol této práce je věnována hodnocení sedmi vybraných filmů. A jejich vhodnosti či nevhodnoti pro výuku náboženství. The content of this thesis focuses on the gospel as templates for film representation and their use in the teaching of religion. Main Tasks of the Pastoral Care for Seniors

Anglická anotace (English annotation) Main tasks of the pastoral care for seniors The introductory chapter of the diploma thesis contains definition of ageing. This definition shows that the notion of ageing touches all people of all ages, but the signs of ageing are more visible with old people. This chapter also deals with the question when a man becomes old. The beginning of the senior age cannot be defined exactly though there are various theories and classifications. The growth of the senior population appeals to the society and health, social and pastoral work that they should deal with the issue and provide seniors with sufficient care and support. The theology of ageing in the second chapter is based primarily on the Bible, which often refers to ageing. Old people have special privileges as well as tasks here. The chapter also deals with the theology of John Paul II. This theology is based primarily on the Letter to the Elderly, in which the former Pope addresses all older people ecumenically, and encourages them to be able to go through their old age in association with the God and other people in the spirit of the Gospel. The bachelor thesis "Dance as a Manifestation of Devotion" is an exposition on dance in the context of Christian culture. It draws out the development of religious dance and its possibilities and apprehension in various cultures and religions at the dawn of history. It also explains an approach and a principle of scepticism with regard to dance that still exists somewhere in the society. The paper presents a view of dance that can express our devotion to God through its gestures and moves; dance can be a manifestation of prayer and thus enrich the liturgy to a great extent. The dance that helps Christians to show their joy of faith is of precious value for the liturgy, just like music and singing. Keywords: Dance, gesture, liturgy, prayer, expression.
