Analysis of the effect of damping on the magnitude of the response during dynamic headlamp excitation
Lukáš, Jan ; Biskup, Martin (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is the magnitude determination of the headlamp response to the dynamic excitation. Currently it is necessary to measure this response, because it is one of the assessed criteria of quality of the headlamp. When comparing results of the experimental measurement and the computational modelling, a good consensus of resonant frequencies is observed, but there are significant differences in acceleration amplitudes. The cause of this is the variable damping value. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with polymeric materials, basics of oscillation and damping. It serves to understand the mechanisms, which influence the results of the experimental measurement. The practical part is dedicated to the procedure of the computational modelling and the experimental measurement implementation. The analysis of the experimental measurement results leads to an ascertainment of nonlinearities, which influence the headlamp behaviour. The results of a sensitivity analysis of the computational modelling are used to create curves, on the basis of which the damping is estimated. The inclusion of the estimated damping into computational modelling leads to reduction of the compared differences of the acceleration amplitudes. The conclusion of the thesis contains the recommendation for the damping determination during the computational modelling of the headlamp.
Proposal of Quality Management System in the Small Manufacturing Company
Kaderková, Marie ; Lukáš, Jan (referee) ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (advisor)
The Master's thesis deal with quality management system in the small manufacturing company and analyses its processes. The proposals in the practical part serve as basis for documentation of quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001.
Using Calculix computing environment to solve problems of solid mechanics
Lukáš, Jan ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Submitted bachelor thesis is focused on a solution of solid mechanics problems in a computing environment of the Calculix program. In the opening of the thesis there are briefly described theoretical foundations of finite element method. Subsequently there are analyzed particular parts of the program environment of Calculix. The main part of the thesis deals with solutions of three selected problems of solid mechanics. There are three different types of analyzes: static structural, modal dynamic and explicit dynamic. In the first assignment there is discovered deformation and stress in a fixed compressed squared timber. The second assignment deals with modal properties of the fixed squared timber. The last assignment discovers effect of loading velocity on the deformation of fixed compressed squared timber. In the conclusion there are briefly evaluated advantages and disadvantages of the Calculix program and there are compared solutions of the Calculix program and commercial program.
And Satyrs Shall Dance There. The Burden of Babylon (Isaiah XIII)
Lukáš, Jan ; Prudký, Martin (advisor) ; Čapek, Filip (referee)
And Satyrs Shall Dance There. The Burden of Babylon (Isaiah XIII) The thirteenth chapter of The Book of Isaiah belonging to the collection of burdens against gentiles (chapters 13 to 23) is on one hand involved in the Proto Isaiah (chapters 1 to 39) but on the other it represents an autonomous unit. This first of burdens targets the greatest adversary of the Judean kingdom and also its destructor. Babylon became a symbol in the Bible for an impious place where God's people suffers aggravations - it does not matter whether in the book of Daniel, in the New Testament then in The First Peter's Epistle or in The Book of Revelation. Relating the doom of this city, analogous to destruction of Jerusalem, the author employs poetic devices and very various and sometime too raw images, including a sort of ancient bestiary. This master thesis concerns at first the translation of a Hebrew text, as it is nowadays preserved in the biblical canon, and its comparison with other ancient translations to Ancient Greek, Latin and also to Coptic dependent on Greek. It is appropriate to consider immediate context, at most the 14th chapter, and also texts of the same genre i.e. burdens against other nations, especially Assyria, but even Judea and Israel and then too akin forms from The Book of Jeremiah where...

Faith and superstition in Moravian folk song
Lukáš, Jan ; Hošek, Pavel (advisor) ; Hájek, Matěj (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the phenomenon of the folk song as it was recorded in Moravia, or at least in the Czech language region, in terms of pagan, biblical and commonly Christian influences giving consideration to heterodox forms of Christianity which acted in the process of shaping of its lyrics. Its aim is to find and analyse motives in the lyrics that draw their inspiration from that kind of influences. The thesis strives afterwards to describe and to analyse these motives and if it is possible to introduce their parallels both inside and outside of our cultural area. At the same time it compares variants of the same lyrics or also variants contained in other songs. Finally there is also impact made by these products of folk culture on later art production represented mainly by the work of K. J. Erben. Chosen songs may in the greatest extent demonstrate the diversity of thoughts and themes, as well as the wealth of sources and springs of inspiration. Thus the thesis targets on the places where the folk culture preserved its peculiarity face to face the Christianity and also where it is founded in some tension with the orthodoxy regardless of the age of such opinions. However the folk culture is much more imbued by Christianity. This mutual connection of Christianity with other elements...
