Valkovič, Marek ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Stančík, Peter (advisor)
The work presents the design and real world implementation of an information system serving as an electronic disk with web based access and administration. The task is being solved using the PHP scripting language and MySQL relational database management system. The study examines PHP and SQL databases, states basic facts and explains how they are connected to create one single complex system. Issues of an internet based payment system are being considered too. The proposed system features complete file management capabilities. Separate access rights can be set for individual users. The administrator of the application can display several interesting statistics. Results of the work are being demonstrated on the final web application.
Distance meter with ESP32
Havelka, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to implement a distance meter with two sensors (ultrasonic and laser) with an ESP32 microcontroller. Then the ability to display measured values on the display and via the web interface. The first part deals with the theory of ultrasound and laser, their use as distance meters and a summary of advantages and disadvantages. The following chapter describes the design of the distance meter with all the components that will be used. The third chapter focuses on the implementation of the distance meter. It was created wiring diagram and designed printed circuit board that handled all mutual communication between the ESP32 and other peripherals. The whole device is placed in a box in the shape of a pistol printed on a 3D printer. The next part of the work briefly describes the software of the distance meter written in the C programming language in the development environment Arduino IDE. Finally, images of the final product were inserted into the work and test measurements were performed, the result of them is written into tables, graphs and subsequently evaluated.
Network applications in .NET Framework
Koch, Michal ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The thesis deals with the programming of network applications using .NET Framework. C# is a programming language. The thesis consists of four parts. The first part is devoted to web services, their characteristics, practical publications and web service client which is the the most common case of use of this service. The second part deals with client-client communication. As an example a simple messages sending is shown here on which are explained the principles how to create this type of application and what classes are available. The third part deals with the communication clientserver. An server application is created to connect multiple clients and send their requirements and server response them. The last part is devoted to encrypted communication. The model client-client is extended to asymmetric encryption. The thesis contains also tutorial videos which show a simple ASP.NET application development and its connection to the web service or ASP.NET application that supports HTTPS protocol and the necessary IIS configuration.

Testing of created SW and evaluation of final design from aspects of usage.
Weather station
Rimeg, Martin ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with the development of a meteorological station for measuring temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity and light intensity. The main feature of the device is the ESP 8266 module, which records the measured values and sends information to the server. Part of the work is PCB design, selection of suitable sensors and application development for display of measured values. The description of the solution was preceded by the theoretical processing of development topics.
Smart water pump for water container
Janík, Vladimír ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of a system for measuring the amount of water in the tank using a 12V water pump. The whole system is controlled by the ESP32 microcontroller. The introduction deals with the theoretical analysis of various principles of measuring the level of liquids. The next part deals with the procedure of the construction of the measuring device and its theoretical analysis. The last part of the work deals with the control of the pump and the individual functions that provide this control. The ultrasonic distance sensor AJ-SR04M was chosen for the implementation of the device. The volume of water in the tank is calculated from its data. The ESP32 microcontroller provides system control via a web interface. The whole system was implemented and tested to measure the volume of water and its pumping in the IBC container.
Design and realization of the power meter with IoT connectivity
Zagrapan, Ivan ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and creating working prototype of IoT Wattmeter with option to switching relay. This device can be control remotely with option to read measured values. To reach my goals, I am using open-source designing board, different sensors and modules. I tis possible to communicate with device through Wi-Fi module ESP 8266 and to test LPWAN network I am using SIGFOX, module. To measure current, it´s used simple Hall-effect sensor and all available information’s are displayed on OLED display. To switch the circuit off or on solid state relay was used. In theoretical part of the work, I am trying to explain working principles of every module and source code, which I am using to control these modules. In practical part I created scheme, using CADSoft EAGLE and created functional wattmeter. Whole work is programmed in C++ language using Arduino IDE.

Kováč, Marek ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The task of bachelor thesis is proposal of switching source for the construction of leadacid battery charger 6/12V controlled by microprocessor. It is based on buck converter of voltage. The first part presents the activity of converter and properties of lead-acid batteries, followed by a proposal of converter for a given application. The second part describes a criteria for selection of individual components and dimensioning them. The result of this thesis is simulation of converter in PC program Micro-Cap 9, along with the necessary calculations, a proposal of circuit with the calculation of inductor and methods of measurement of output quantities. Finally, is realized circuit board with a couple measurements and control program for the microcontroller. The entire proposal is focused to achieving the greatest simplicity of facility and efficiency and quality of charging accumulators together at low cost to the product.
Receiving and decoding of meteorological signals
Tuchyňa, Juraj ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The main purpouse of this project is theoretical analyze of data receiving from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) meteo-satallites. The project is focused on data processing and decoding them. Received data will be processed and represented. We will use software defined radio (SDR) to help us to understand basic principles of signal processing. We will design conception of receiver in block diagram. Building of functional receiver will be the major part of bachelor thesis.
Meteorological station system
Čada, Jan ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a online meteorological station system, which consists of individual weather stations that communicate via the Internet with the server. The first part of the thesis discusses the principles of measuring major meteorological variables and deals with the selection of suitable sensors for measuring temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, wind speed and rainfall. In the practical part, one of the weather stations based on Raspberry Pi Zero microcomputer is designed and realized. As a complement to the measured data, the station includes a camera that captures the view from the site where the meteostation is installed. 3D printing is used to realize most of the mechanical parts, it has the advantage of speed, accuracy and easy reproducibility. For the measurement of temperature, pressure and humidity, a combined sensor BME280 from Bosch is used, which is placed in a small Stevenson screen. The wind speed is measured by a cup anemometer whose rotation is sensed by an integrated Hall sensor. The output pulses are then counted using the PCF8583 circuit, which has an I2C interface for reading the values with a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Special attention is paid to the construction of a custom calibratable tipping bucket rain gauge with a resolution of 0,5 mm, whose mechanical motion is also sensed by a Hall sensor as in the anemometer. The reading of the data from sensors and sending it to the server is handled by a Python script. For storing and presenting data to users, a custom server solution based on LAMP webserver is implemented, its source codes are written in PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. In addition to the web interface, which displays the data in graphs, the measured data can be also presented to the user via an application for mobile devices based on Android. The application was developed in C# using the Xamarin framework in the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. Among other things, it implements a widget for quick access to the measured values directly from the home screen. In the final part of the thesis, interesting findings obtained by observing the measured values are mentioned.
