Sanitation installation and gas installation in kindergarten

This diploma thesis deals with the design of sanitary and gas installations in the kindergarten building in Židlochovice in the Družba housing estate. The building consists of two floors, where on the 1st floor there are 2 classes, kitchen, warehouses and maintenance areas. There are also 2 classes on the 2nd floor. The theoretical part deals with the possibilities of using internal installation spaces and requirements for hygienic spaces. The calculation part and the project contain the design of sewerage and rain sewerage, water supply, gas supply and their connection to public networks.

The bachelor thesis deals with the sewerage, piping and gas installation in an eight-storey apartment building with a basement. The theoretical part deals with materials used for water pipes. The computation and design part contains a proposal of piping system, sewerage system and gas pipeline, also linking up of the object on existing engineering systems. The project was elaborated according to current valid standards and regulations.

This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of speech recognition and its practical use. This function is described theoretically for more scientific disciplines, as well as towards the Information Sciences with emphasis on the thematic area of Human Computer Interaction. The work also includes a survey focused to obtain information on the behavior of users of contact centers - their habits, frequency of use, the type of service preference and request of new features. It also includes specific questions about the functions of speech recognition and voice identification. This pilot survey can be the basis for further extensive research. The aim is to determine the possibility of using speech recognition and the real needs of users.

Naše práce měla několik cílů. Předně jím bylo seznámení se s fenoménem křesťanských stran. Především jakou funkci hrají v politickém prostředí a čím se vyznačují. Druhým cílem bylo popsat historii a vývoj katolických stran u nás, jmenovitě Československé strany lidové, později přejmenované na Křesťanskou a demokratickou unii - Československou stranu lidovou. Zaměřili jsme se především na působení této strany v demokratickém prostředí v období po roce 1989. Neopomněli jsme však ani začátky katolických stran na našem území a působení Československé strany lidové do roku 1989. Hlavní důraz byl však kladen na popis působení strany po roce 1989. Třetím a pravděpodobně nejdůležitějším cílem bylo zařazení Křesťanské a demokratické unie - Československé strany lidové do politického systému České republiky. Zaměřili jsme se na pokud možno širokou škálu faktorů, pomocí nichž jsme analýzu provedli. Na základě námi zjištěných informací a výsledků analýzy se pokusíme ještě odhadnout, jakým směrem se strana bude v nejbližší době ubírat.

Nutritional support in patients with neurological disease

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of nutritional support in patients with neurological diseases (stroke and Critical-Illness-Polyneuropathy). The aim of this thesis is to find out, how implemented unified system of nutritional support affects the well-being of patients at neuro-rehabilitation clinic Asklepios Schlossberg Klinik in Bad König. There were observed 55 patients (30 men and 25 women) for 8 weeks. The theoretical part of this thesis describes basic components of nutrition, energy expenditure and needs, selected neurological diseases, dysphagia, malnutrition. The emphasis is put on nutrition in intensive neurological care. The practical part of the thesis analyses data obtained by the observation. There are observed changes of body weight, BMI and laboratory values of total protein, albumin and glycaemia in serum. These data are divided by sex, age, type of disease and initial BMI values. The observed patients had mainly overweight and obesity, which have lost a part of their excess weight due to catabolism. At the beginning of the observation 13 patient had normal BMI value, this number of patients rose to 24 after eight weeks. This diploma thesis deals with the topic of nutritional support in patients with neurological diseases (stroke, craniocerebral trauma, critical-illness-polyneuropathy. The aim of this thesis is to find out, how implemented unified system of nutritional support affects the well-being of patients at neuro-rehabilitation clinic Asklepios Schlossberg Klinikum in Bad König. There were observed 58 patients (33 men and 25 women) during 8 weeks. The theoretical part of this thesis describes basic components of nutrition, energy expenditure and needs, selected neurological diseases, dysphagia, malnutrition and nutrition in intensive neurological care. The practical part of the thesis analyses data obtained by the observation. There are observed changes of body weight, BMI and laboratory values of total protein and albumin in serum. Nutritional assessment of extraleague handball players

This bachelor thesis is focused on nutritional assessment of extraleague handball players. The aim is to describe the importance of nutrition in sport and compare groups of professional athletes with amateurs. The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The theoretical part deals mainly with the importance of individual nutrients, the drinking regime, handball physiology and related energy metabolism. The practical part evaluates the results of the questionnaire and the four-day nutritional intake. The research team consisted of 20 extraleague handball players and 15 unprofessional athletes from the age of 18 to 29. The evaluation of the nutritional intake indicated insufficient energy intake, mainly in the form of carbohydrates. Differences were also found between two groups, when extraleague handball players compensate insufficient intake of carbohydrate by increased protein consumption, but unprofessional athletes have increased fat intake. Excessive intake of proteins and fats of animal origin was detected, which is also due to the fact that 85 % of the extraleague handball players did never consult their nutritional intake with a nutritionist.
