It defines terms related to the subject: culture, company culture, working group, intercultural communication and intercultural integration. It contains analysis of real multicultural environment, represented by one team of IBM office in Brno. In the end, this thesis offers some improvements for better efficiency of intercultural integration in this team.

The roots of Polish Catholicism

This diploma thesis deals with Catholicism in Poland and its permeation through the Polish national identity. The introductory chapter characterizes the concept of identity Polak-Katolik and its individual aspects that co-create this concept, as a rate of religiosity; the interconnection of Catholicism with polish statehood; Christianity as a part of national identity and historical events during which the Polak-Katolik connection was strengthened. Although the Polak- Katolik model was created in the 19th century, the roots of this connection can be observed from the beginnings of the Polish history to the present. The thesis then focuses in more detail on selected historical milestones in Polish history, which shows, how the elements of Catholicism permeated into the identity of Poles. The thesis assumes that the permeation of polish-catholic occurred mainly in critical periods. Therefore, for the purposes of the work, mainly events were selected when the existence of the Polish nation was threatened and faith together with the Roman Catholic Church played significant role in its preservation, such as during the siege of the monastery in Czenstochowa, the period of polish partition and the period of communism. This thesis deals with a very important and serious topic, which is creative accounting and its relation to accounting frauds. Most of the society finds creative accounting undesirable because it was mentioned in relation to bankruptcy of big American a European companies after the revelation of their financial manipulations. The thesis analyses accounting frauds focusing on fraud detection, prevention, typical fraudster and criteria of the fraudelent actions according to the fraud triangle.

K současnému stavu nářečí východomoravského

The bachelor thesis deals with the current state of eastern Moravian dialect on the area of the regional city Zlín. At the beginning of the work the term dialect is defined as an integral part of Czech national language and then its historical development is summarized. Further, the thesis contains an overview of individual types of dialects in the Czech Republic and their brief characteristics. The main topic of the bachelor thesis is east Moravian dialect. The work discusses its 1st geographical definition, 2nd division into dialect subgroups, and 3rd typical dialect elements. The following practical part analyses the transcriptions of the audio recordings of dialect and summarizes the actual phonological, morphological, word-forming and lexical means of the east Moravian dialect. The aim of the analysis is to confirm or rebut the hypothesis of the gradual decline of dialectical expression.

Community Planning of Social Services in Municipal District of Prague 6 - Suchdol

Community planning of social services is not the current topic in the society. The diploma thesis goal is to realize a study review of community planning of social services in the Czech Republic and to describe the actual social situation in Praha-Suchdol municipal district according to community plan creation methodology. First part describes social services system and its legislation in the Czech Republic. Community planning of social services correlates with community and community social work. So I pay attention to them in the second part of the thesis. The community planning of social services can be described with respect to different views. I focused on such themes that are connected with a process of identifying the needs. This thesis analyses the actual social situation in Praha-Suchdol municipal district by secondary data and finally the thesis analyses results of the survey created for the thesis purpose of Praha-Suchdol citizen's opinions and needs.

Political Cycle in the European Union Countries

The aim of my diploma thesis is to analyse the posibility of existence of a political cycle in the selected european countries (Ireland and Germany). The work describes the various theories of the political cycle. I try to prove the existence of political cycle by analysing of political and economical data (inflation rate and unemployment rate). The work examines two main theories of the political cycle. These two theories are: opportunistic political cycle theory, which suppose that the main motive of the politicians are being re-elected in the next election. And ideological political cycle theory assume that politicians behavior accord to their parties ideological orientation.

Liberalization of the electronic communications is one of the most important processes in the last few years. For control of electronic communications was defined The New Regulatory Framework across all countries in the European Union. This work tries to present the impacts of mobile telecommunication regalution. This dissertation is especially focused for situation in the Czech Republic through history and classification of telecommunication services, development of legal regulations of telecommunication in 20th and 21st century and the explanation of mobile operators situation in the Czech Republic.

Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union and the Outlook for the Future

This bachelor thesis is focused on Common agricultural policy of European Union (CAP EU). The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes beginning and development of CAP, presents reasons for creating of CAP and describes the development of how CAP in history. The second chapter is focused on the functionality of CAP and provides more detailed look on its principles. It is dedicated to the CAP's mechanism and instruments that aids to fulfil its functionality. The third chapter is mapping particular reforms of CAP. The development of the Czech agriculture is described in the last chapter of theoretical part. It deals with fact, that the Czech agriculture is a part of European agriculture. The practical part has two main charters. The first half is focused on development of number of cattle in Czech republic and in France from 1990 to 2007. I have chosen those two countries because of the contrast in their situation. The development of cattle quantity is analyzed using apparatus of statistical instrument of time series. The second half of practical part describes development of expenditures on CAP and a historical development of it's portion in EU budget.
