Influence of the National Socialist regime on the aryanizations in the Czech lands and in Sovakia during the Second World War.

This Bachelor thesis deals with anti-Jewish measurements in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and in the Slovak Republic during the Second World War. It analyses the relationship between the German Empire and two successors on the area of the Czech-Slovak Republic. The thesis aims to discover relationship between internal structure of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and the Slovak Republic and anti-Jewish measurements, which were implemented by national political representations or they were ruled by the Nazi Germany. In the case of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and the Slovak Republic the implementation of these measurements was combination of the initiative from national political representations and the influence of the German Empire.
Holocaust Denial in the United States of America

The Holocaust denial is one of the manifestations of anti-Semitism in modern times, which emerged after the World War II in Western Europe. It soon expanded into the United States, where it due to the several factors it consequently gained momentum. In the seventies and eighties it reached its peak and the Institute for Historical Review, the most important organization of deniers, was founded. Holocaust deniers call themselves revisionists, followers of the tradition of the legitimate historical trend that emerged after the World War I. They declare their goal as the revision history, the search for historical truth and fight for freedom of speech. They utilize a means of pseudo and public biased academic work in order to discredit the Holocaust as a recognized historical fact. This bachelor thesis Holocaust denial in the United States aims to describe the historical development of the phenomenon of Holocaust denial and its basic characteristics in the USA. Another objective is to answer the question why Holocaust denial is so widespread in the United States and whether it is a serious social problem.
Vice Presidency in the U.S. Executive Branch

The thesis deals with the vice-president's office of the USA, his powers and his position in the American executive. Considering relatively limited constitutional definition of the vice-presidency, also circumstances of the historic evolution of election this function and issues of vice-president's succession to the presidential office are the subjects of my thesis. The vice-president's selection in the United States of America used to be for many reasons a very important and by the public desirously awaited decision of a presidential candidate before presidential elections. This is the reason, why the thesis deals also with the issue of the impact of the vice-president's nomination on a presidential campaign.
Comparison of the Position of the Presidents of Poland and Slovakia

Bachelor thesis "Comparison of the Position of Presidents of Poland and Slovakia" compares positions of the heads of states of the two neighbouring countries. It focuses mainly on the Third Polish Republic and the independent Slovak Republic but it deals with previous periods too. Due to the fact that the classification of the countries as parliamentarism or semi-presidentialism is one of the aims of the thesis, one part focuses on theory of these democratic political systems and position of presidents in them. Constitutional powers in relation to other parts of state power are not the only problem analyzed. Part of the thesis describes also the real position of the presidents. Comparison of constitutional and real powers of presidents of Poland and Slovakia verified thesis that Polish president is more powerful than his Slovak counterpart, but it can be applied only for real powers. Their constitutional powers are similar.
Political Marketing in the Czech Republic: Possibilities, Tools, Optimalization and Budgets

This thesis is devoted to the election and political marketing topics. I analysed different types of political marketing tools and guerilla marketing tools. Guerilla marketing is a special marketing form suitable for some campaign situations. Moreover we can use it for campaign optimization. This optimization is the core of this topic. It is important to find the best tools, with the lowest expenses for our preferred voters. In addition to that, I introduced several kinds of campaign tactics useable in the Czech politics. There are also election campaign proposed budgets for different types of the Czech elections.
The position of Czech soldiers to the Afghan population during the reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan

Bachelor work deals with the characteristic attitudes of Czech participants on missions in Afghanistan, mainly civilian and military staff of Provincial Reconstruction Teams. Theoretical part is based on the opinions of Samuel P. Hungtington's clash of civilizations and Francis Fukuyama's end of History. This work also utilized the opinions of their critics such as Associate Professor Miroslav Mendel or Oskar Křejčí. As a methodological approach at this work is chosen case study, namely disciplined interpretive study. To determine the attitudes of Czech actors in Afghanistan was carried out analysis of relevant data First, analysis of publicly available materials and information about the mission in Afghanistan, then on the basis of published interviews with participants PRT Logar and also according to the results of own survey among troops and civilian experts. The aim of this work is to determine the characteristics of attitudes of Czech actors during the reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan. And also find out which theory about relationship between two different cultural group is attitude of Czech soldiers more simmilar or closer.
Analysis of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza Strip

The bachelor thesis analyzes the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is considered through one of the most important Palestinian parties- Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). In the introduction the thesis provides the explanation of the concept of Islamic fundamentalism, as it is understood throughout the work. It continuous with explanation of the historical background of the movement - the forefather, the Muslim Brotherhood and it culminates with the formation of Hamas during the First Intifada. The other chapters talk about the movement itself and its impact on the conflict. There is also a deep analysis of four important documents - Charter from the year 1988, the Election program, Program of the National united government, and the Political platform of the one-colored government of Hamas from 2006. These documents, statements and activities of its members as well, are important to see the evolution of movement's philosophy and its future impact on the conflict. Thesis is focused mostly on the period since the First Intifada till nowadays. It is oriented on the territory of Gaza Strip, where Hamas has governed since 2006. The last chapter concerns the points of view on Hamas among the states and experts.
Religious Political Parties in Israel

Thesis is focused on Israeli religious political parties and the question of their increasing influence. Furthermore, it is focused also on potential increase of the Israeli state's religiosity. Religious parties are classified according to three determining factors. These are: (i) attitude towards Zionism, (ii) number of Sephardi Jews in the party, i.e. whether it is an Ashkenazi or a Sephardi party, and (iii) position towards Arabs (Palestinians). The initial part of the Thesis describes historical evolution which led to the establishment of Israel as a state. Primarily to introduce the situation, and the moods, that was preceding the state's establishment, but also to provide better understanding of relations between the Jews and the Arabs. The level of Israel's religiosity is analyzed based on influence of the key religious institutions on the state affairs. Besides the Ministry of Religious Services these are mainly the Rabbinical Courts, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and local religious councils. To better assess the religious nature of the state the Thesis moreover analyzes and describes the status quo as regards the relationship of the state and the religion.
West and Christianity in Relation to Islam in the Context of Reconstruction in Afghanistan

Interpretation of ideas of Czech actors in Afghanistan, their attitudes and their perceptions in different civilizational groups was carried out on the basis of analysis of relevant data. First, analysis of publicly available materials and information about the mission in Afghanistan, then on the basis of published interviews with participants PRT Logar and also according to the results of own survey among troops and civilian experts. The aim of this work is to understand the interrelation of Czech actors and the Afghan people during the reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan. And also find out which theory about relationship between two different cultural group is experience of Czech soldiers more simmilar or closer.
