Information needs and information behavior of primary school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze and compare information needs and information behavior of primary school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical part of the thesis will focus on information behavior of teachers and will describe the development of anti- epidemic measures in education during the coronavirus pandemic. The practical part will be based on a combination of questionnaires, depth interviews and their subsequent evaluation. The thesis will focus on the information behavior of teachers, processing use of information, information sources, evaluation of the credibility of the information sought by teachers in preparation for teaching, in teaching itself and in self-education. The thesis also aims to find out how teachers themselves evaluate information and information sources of pupils in reports and school work in the period before the pandemic and then during it. Diploma thesis will be prepared according to valid inner regulations of Faculty of Arts, Charles University and further guidelines and normative documents. Jan Loužil - Bibliophile

Jan Loužil, a dentist from Jaroměř, is not quite famous person among Czech bibliophiles in Czechoslovakia although he also was active as a publisher of beautiful book which is by bibliophile editions of Rudolf Těsnohlídek, F. X. Šalda, Josef Pekař or Karel Čapek from 1920s and 1930s. This bachelor thesis reviewed place of Jan Loužil in context of publishing activities of bibliophile editions in Czechoslovakia based on accessible secondary literature, received correspondence from mentioned authors preserved in Literary Archive Department of Museum of Czech literature and evaluation available bibliophile edition by Jan Loužil. Bachelor thesis is enriched by book collection partly preserved in National Museum Library. Bachelor thesis will be prepared according to valid inner regulations of Faculty of Arts, Charles University and further guidelines and normative documents. Satisfaction and Potential of Strahov Library The content of the thesis is a complete analysis of the potential of the Strahov Monastery Library. In the theoretical part I will outline the history of libraries and librarianship, which is supplemented by the history of monastic libraries in Europe and The Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov. In detail, the reader is acquainted with the history of the library and then focuses on the libraries of the Theological and Philosophical, the Cabinet of Curiosities and the Department of Geographic Atlases. Another part is the satisfaction of library users - why we find it and what threats can occur. In the practical part I will set the research question, which is the satisfaction of users and the potential of the Strahov Monastery Library using a questionnaire. I set hypothetical questions that will later be confirmed or disproved from the questionnaire. Everything is completed with a SWOT analysis of the Strahov Monastery Library with own suggestions and ideas for improving the current situation in the library. The aim of the research question is to determine user satisfaction and the potential of the Strahov Monastery Library using a questionnaire survey.
