Jaromíra Uhlířová Possibility of occupational therapy interventions in traumatology: Interventions for patients with the upper limb complex regional pain syndrome diagnosis Abstract of the Bachelor's Thesis: Aim of this bachelor's thesis is to outline the current situation of the treatment of patients with complex regional pain syndrome - CRPS emphasizing rehabilitation in the health care including occupational therapy. The theoretical part is introducing problems of the actual diagnosis of CRPS. It is also summarizing individual diagnostic and possible interventions applied in the Czech Republic and in abroad. Aim of the practical part was to find out what types of processes are currently used in patients in Prague centres for pain treatment and other rehabilitation institutes and whether they correspond with therapeutic processes described in the theoretical part. Another aim of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis was to find out whether any occupational therapists work in pain treatment centres and what is their scope of duties. It came out from held discussions that an occupational therapist is not usually a member of the interprofessional team in Prague pain treatment centres.
