Smoking women working in selected medical facilities

The theme of Bachelor thesis is smoking among women employed as nurses or medical assistants in selected medical facility. The theoretical part provides information about history of smoking, current legislation dealing with the problem of smoking and also the effects of smoking on health, tobacco addiction and addiction treatment. The aim of the research, which is described in the practical part, was to determine the prevalence of smoking among nurses and medical assistants in selected clinical departments at the University Hospital Motol, describe the reasons of smoking and the behavior in connection with smoking addiction. The differences in attitudes towards smoking among nurses and medical assistants - smokers, working on the children's department and the department for adult patients have been recorded. The conclusion includes recommendations for possible changes in attitude of medical personnel to considerated addiction in terms of health promotion. Keywords: Smoking; Addiction; Prevention; Nurse.

This theses describes a breakdown of some difficulties connecting with feminity. A houseworking and a child welfare are the most important. It deals with problem of present-day czech family. The czech family has been in process of many changes which still determinete its form. A substitutability of man's or woman's roles at the family and holding in houseworking are not equal. The equal opportunities are not guaranteed at a czech job market The least favoured are women with small children.

Influence of the media on the perception of body image in adolescents

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis "The influence of media on perception of body image by adolescents" describes the developmental stage of adolescence, body image and terms connected with this issue. The period of adolescence is showed from many points of view. Subsequently, there follows the description of media, advertising and strategies which influnce the perception of media and also the adolescents' behavior as consumers. The empirical part contains the result of the questionnaire which was attended by a group of respondents aged between 15 to 20. The task was to determine the influence of advertising as means of media on body image by adolescents and how this youth groug perceives its body. In the final part there is a summary of findings of the perception of adolescents' body image and the influence of media on its perception.

Risk behavior adolescents in the field of reproductive health

TITLE: Risk behaviors of adolescents in the areas of reproductive health AUTHOR: Bc. Anna Fendrichová DEPARTMENT: Department of pedagogy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Jiří Kučírek PhD. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with risk behaviour, with a special focus on reproductive health in late adolescence. The theoretical part first approaches risky behaviour in general and next it targets on reproductive health in adolescence, on its possible risks and consequences. The conclusion of the theoretical part is dedicated to the prevention of risky reproductive behaviour with emphasis on primary prevention. The research part of the thesis presents a quantitative research survey by means of a questionnaire. The analysis of the survey data provides information on adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health and their behaviour in this area. Further, it reveals whether there are differences in knowledge and behaviour among students who have a subject focused on health education and those who do not. The results of the survey showed that knowledge among the questioned adolescents is not at such a level as expected. Neither the differences in awareness and behaviour of adolescent students in particular branches are not as significant as one would expect. Work with convicted commiting sexual offence on children

This work deals with the treatment of convicts who committed sexual and violent offenses against child victims. Specifically, it focuses on the results of the implementation of the treatment program the individual participants within a standardized program for offenders sentenced for crimes of violence against children GREPP (English acronym GREPP - Re-education psychology program focused on working with wine). The majority of offenders from the beginning of his guilt and does not want to accept it conceals. From experience it implies that in the course of the program can attitudes convicted for their crimes vary. The research sample qualitative part of the study was collected in the years 2014 to 2016. It is a narrative study. It was composed of three representative case studies from among the graduates of the program in the prison GREPP Nové Sedlo The work investigates whether the participants in the program are able to specifically change their attitude and outlook on their criminal activities. Another goal is to use the findings of the work to create recommendations for convicted graduates of the program, which would be useful for further punishment. Young women's value orientation

The diploma thesis The Value Orientation of Young Women evaluates relationship differences between men and women; it defines and classifies moral values and detects changes in value orientations of contemporary postmodern society. The thesis describes value orientations of young women on the basis of comparison of the results from qualitative research made in the way of half-standardized interviews with ten Czech women in the age of 25 to 30 years, and the earlier research that was done mostly in 1990s. On the basis of the research, the thesis reveals some areas where the value orientation stays unchanged, but on the other hand it also finds out areas where some differences are detectable and where a movement in time can be noticed.
