Forms of international labour migration on example the Portuguese living in Great Britain

The goal of this thesis is to describe the process of international labour migration on young Portuguese living in Northwich, Great Britain. The first part of my thesis concerns a theoretical summary and description of already known migration theories. In the first part are also defined terms of migration, transnationalism and diaspora. The goal of the practical part is to determine the possible reasons that led Portuguese people emigrate to Great Britain. The thesis also describes the life of Portuguese nationals abroad and their way of preserving identity. The thesis uses qualitative research methods in the form of ethnographical research taken in Northwich in 2015. Field notes are supplemented by semi-structured interviews with ten long-term living Portuguese in Great Britain.

Heating optimization aboveground tanks

This thesis describes analysis and optimization of existing heating system aboveground fire sprinkler water tanks. The purpose is to design a heating system so as to achieve optimal operating and economic conditions for the operation of heating in winter. I will use available computer software and adhere to the applicable regulations and standards. Using experi-mental methods and computer simulations I will assess the current state of the heating system which in turn will provide an optimizing its use and operation.

Minimal Representation of the Božetěchova Complex

The document describes developing graphical application with limited size. It describes suitable techniques for a polygonal mesh's compression. The second part is focused on practical usage of this techniques for developing scene in 3D modeling environment and also describes how to transfer this model to the executable file. The work attends to optimalizations of source code compilation and executables compression at the final chapters.

Air condition of the restaurant

This thesis describes the creation of ventilation systems in the specified restaurant. The pur-pose of this investigation is to design the air conditioning system so as to create the optimal microclimate conditions in all operating parts of the building; such as a kitchen, restaurant, social hall or an apartment. I will use available computer software and adhere to the applica-ble regulations and standards. Using computer simulations, I will assess the current status of the air distribution in respective parts of the building and propose its optimization, which in turn will provide an optimal internal microclimate.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to assess the current marketing strategy of the Gillette brand with focus on men's shaving products in the Czech and Slovak markets. The theoretical part explains basic marketing terminology that helps to understand the practical part of the diploma thesis. The goal of the practical part is to implement specific proposals for improving various tools of the marketing mix that could help the Gillette brand strengthen and build its market share in the future.

Segmentation of antiperspirants and deodorants

The goal of Master's Thesis on topic Segmentation of antiperspirants and deodorants is to discover differences in consumer's behaviour, determinate and describe segments of consumers based on these differences and propose marketing strategy for the most attractive segments. Theoretical part describes market segmentation in general, process of segmentation and segmentation criteria. Analytic part characterizes Czech market of antiperspirants and deodorants, analyzes ACNielsen market data and discovers marketing communication of key producers. The main part of Thesis focuses on the process of segmentation -- market determination, key segmentation kriteria setting, questionary, segments determination and main characteristics. At the end two most attractive segments are chosen and marketing strategy for them is proposed.
