Šindlerová, Barbora ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Novotná, Irena (referee)
Title: Case Report: Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with a Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture Thesis goal: The goal of this thesis is to present a theoretical outline of a bimalleolar ankle fracture diagnosis and a practical survey of the respective conservative medical treatment. The material and evidence required for these were gathered during a practical training experience in Kladno hospital. Methodology: The theoretical part of this thesis includes theoretical matter from the fields of anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, traumatology, and types of physiotherapeutic treatment of bimalleolar ankle fracture. The following special part of this thesis discusses the methodology, collects anamnesis data and includes the initial kinesiologic check-up on the basis of which a suitable therapy and a short-term physiotherapeutic schedule was designed. This part of the thesis further consists of an account of individual therapeutic procedures and of the final kinesiologic check-up which is compared to the initial check-up. In conclusion, there follows an argumentation of the efficiency of the chosen physiotherapeutic methods. Key words: physiotherapy, case report, ankle joint, fracture

Title: Case Study of A Physiotherapy Treatment of A Patient with the Diagnosis of Fracture of Lateral Malleolus Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to present basic information on ankle fractures and to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above mentioned diagnosis. Method: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a discription of the anatomic structure and the function of the ankle joint, the kinesiology of the foot and the biomechanics of walking. Furthermore, it deals with traumatology of the ankle area focusing on fractures, diagnostic methods, treatment and physotherapy methods and on courses of action after ankle fractures. The practical part is conceived a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis on the baisis of which aims and methods of the therapy were determined. The thesis presents a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis and a therapy efficiency evaluation. Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient after implantatio Uni THR of left knee joint
Váchová, Kateřina ; Holländerová, Dita (advisor) ; Kozáková, Alena (referee)
This thesis is divided in two parts - the general and the specialized one. In the general part it follows theoretical knowledge of problematics of unilateral endoprosthesis of knee joint implementation, different types of endoprosthesis, indications and gonarthrotis. Significant part is dedicated to physiotherapeutical procedures and means of treatment of patients after unilateral knee joint replacement. I dedicated the specialized part, elaborated in form of case interpretation, to a description of essential cooperation with the patient during the time of hospitalization, I determine short and long term plan and evaluate the effect of therapy.

Title: Case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient with the fracture of the distal radius Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to summerize theoretical and practical informaticion about fracture of distal radius, to peruse sources of this problems, proposing therapy and monitor its progress. Includes detailed case studies patient with a fracture of the distal radius. Methodics: The literature search and the case study of this issue was proceeded within the practical experience (from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012) in Oblastní nemocnice Kladno (Regional hospital Kladno). The first part of the work is concerned with the theoretical knowledge of anatomy and functional kinesiology of antebrachium and hand. Then describes the fractures of the distal antebrachium, their treatment and physiotherapeutic methods and examinations. The second part contains the case report which refers to the patient with the fracture of the distal radius, the treatment, the therapy and the pursuance of the curative effect. Results: During the therapy, there was reduce swelling, pain reduction, effects of reflex changes, restore the joint play, increasing joint range, stretching shortened muscules and increase musce strenght in the right upper extremity. Keywords: antebrachium, raduis, accident, fracture,...

I also focused on arthral and non-arthral, neurological, symptoms. At the end of the thesis the physical therapy is discussed. The second part includes the actual diagnosis elaboration of a case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. It was created during my practice in the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague, from 11th January until 21st January. The part includes an entry investigation, a short-term and a long-term therapy schedule, therapeutic units, an output investigation and an efficiency of the used therapy.
