Optimization of the DC motor state space controller for FPGA
Maliszewski, Michal ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of state space controller of DC motor on FPGA in LabVIEW environment on NI cRIO platform. In the first part, the state space model of the given DC motor is presented in Matlab/Simulink and then the position feedback controller with steady-state error elimination and with state observer with error compen-sation using LQR method is designed. The thesis continues with transforming the con-troller to LabVIEW environment where the code is edited for FPGA use. Next, the fo-cus on FPGA hardware resources consumption optimization leads to careful work with fixed-point data type. After successful code compilation on target hardware, the real given DC motor is connected and the series of tests are performed. The output of the thesis is working state space controller running on FPGA and the graphical user inter-face on real-time host cRIO, which enables the user to control the plant and save the data on the disk.
Design of test environment for automatic testing of eletronic control unit
Dalecký, Filip ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design and implementation of part of test environment for automatic testing of electronic control unit in the production. The electronic control unit is manufactured by UNIS, a.s. and is used as a control and power electronics for the hydraulic unit. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the development and automatic testing of electronics in the field of aerospace engineering. The practical part describes the proposed automatic test environment and implementation of testing software using hardware and software products by National Instruments. The main platforms used for software development are LabVIEW and TestStand. Created test environment is finally verified by testing several control units.
Design of control system for garden irrigation with Siemens LOGO!
Michl, Antonín ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a garden irrigation control system, its components and its implementation to the Siemens LOGO!. The individual components were chosen and the control program was created. The proposal is based on the specific input conditions and it takes into account the general assumptions. The LOGO!Soft Comfort simulation program was used to design the PLC control program and the LOGO! 0BA6 module was used as the logic controller. Complete system was tested in laboratories of the Institute of Automation and Computer science at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno. The testing results showed proper and desired behavior.
Development of Customized Signal Processing SW for dynamic analysis of engineering systems
Witassek, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Lošák, Petr (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to create a user interface for signal processing mostly in the area of dynamics. First part of this thesis describes the theory of acceleration and force sensors, A/D conversion and corresponding issues such as sampling, quantization and types of convertors. Following part provides a brief summary of National Instruments products for vibration measurement. Next part of this thesis deals with methods of signal processing such as Fourier transform, frequency response functions and experimental modal analysis. Software described in the last part of this thesis is created in LabVIEW enviroment.
Design and implementation of database of information system for processing of machine-tool risks
Švoma, Stanislav ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis and design of a database structure for an information system, which is primary designed for processing of a machine-tool risk. The diploma thesis contains retrieval part, which describes concepts, approches and methods of development of information database systems. The thesis contains theoretical concept and practical realization of database system, which is crucial purpose of this thesis.
Temperature measurement of a machine tool
Sloboda, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to get acquainted with the theory of temperature measurement, various kinds of contact and non-contact gauges, their construction and accuracy. It also tries to explain the basic knowledge of machine tools and their thermal load. Part of the work is to test this knowledge with experiments in the company Intemac Solutions s.r.o. and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology. The obtained results are further evaluated and compared with the help of graphs and tables. To process the obtained data from the sensors, program Labview was used and FLIR Tools was used for thermal pictures taken with thermal camera. During evaluation, it was also necessary to consider measurement errors caused by the factors resulting from the physical laws described in this work.
Software possibilities of using algorithms of artificial intelligence methods in industry
Karas, Kristián ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the use of artificial intelligence techniques in the industry and in systems for monitoring machines. In the practical part, the work focuses on the construction of a convolutional neural network and its testing on real data for diagnosing the state of the machine.
Operating software with web interface for programmable controllers
Matějka, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with developing of software, which allows access and control of programmable controllers through web interface. Software uses client server model and for communication between client and server is used Windows Communication Foundation interface which is integrated in Microsoft .NET Framework from version 3.0. Applications were written in C# programming language using .NET Framework libraries. Data visualization in web application was created by Microsoft Silverlight.
Long-term predictive modelling of nonlinear dynamical systems using convolutional neural networks
Ptáčník, Vojtěch ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with creating a computer model of a convolutional neural network. The task is more difficult because it involves a nonlinear system that requires long-term acceptable accuracy. The main part consists of research on the topic, which explores various solutions of neural networks and focuses on convolutional neural networks, which can be a suitable choice for solving nonlinear systems. To achieve the goals of the work, it is necessary to create a computational model that will subsequently predict the nonlinear system. The ability of convolutional networks to predict these systems will be demonstrated and analyzed.
