The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the performance of the company Westrock Packaging Systems Svitavy, s. r. o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis of the literature, which forms the basis for other parts. In the analytical part, the researched company is introduced and a strategic and financial analysis is prepared. Based on the obtained outputs from the performed analyzes, a proposal for the implementation of the BSC model is elaborated in the last part of the diploma thesis, which should lead to an increase in the company's performance.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Westrock Packaging Systems Svitavy in the years 2013–2017. The first part of the bachelor thesis defines the goals and methods that will be used to achieve the stated goals. The second part of the thesis deals with the theoretical basis, explaining the concepts of financial analysis and describing its individual methods. In the third, practical part, the financial ratios are applied to the analyzed company. Based on the results of the financial analysis a proposal to improve the financial situation of the company will be drawn up in the last part of the thesis.

This thesis is written about factors, which leads people doing business while studiing. It is more actual then ever and it is more and more popular between people. This thesis tries to find out which factors are important, that student starts his/her own business. This thesis is devided to two parts. the first one is teoretical and second one is practical. Teoretical part is about business and motivation. The aim of second part is to identifie and examine factors of motivation doing business, analysis of current situation in Czech republic and analysis of business support also in Czech republic and abroad.

The Bachelor's Thesis focus on the process of recruitment and selection of employees in organization XYZ. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides basic information regarding the recruitment and selection of staff. Gradually deals with the description and specifications of the vacancy, identification of sources, methods of recruitment and publication of job offers. Practical part describes recruitment and selection in organization XYZ. The processes of recruitment and selection of employees in organization XYZ are compared with the theoretical part at the end of Bachelor.
