The algorithm of protection function for the unsymetries location
Kopáček, Petr ; Jurák, Viktor (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The Master Thesis deals with a proposal of algorithm of a protective function for assymetric faults location in resistance-grounded medium voltage networks with decentralized measurement of instantaneous voltage and current values. The theoretical part describes a single pole fault in the resistance-grounded network including the network analysis using the symmetric component method. Furtherly follows brief reserse of nowadays considered possibilities of faults location in the medium voltage networks. The proposed algorithm which works on the principle of negative sequence changes and change differencies of voltage and current is described by mathematical operations and flowchart, and it is furtherly tested in the PSCAD simulator on the proposed network model. Also the algorithm is tested in the Matlab program using the real data from the local distribution network Pod Palackeho vrchem where the initial pilot implementation is assumed. The last part of the thesis includes also the algorithm sensitivity analysis.
Mixing and kneading machine
Kopáček, Petr ; Anderle, Martin (referee) ; Prokeš, František (advisor)
This diploma work deals with design of the mixing and kneading machine which works with heated mixed components. The components consist of PET, HDPE, silica sand and additives. First, there is introduced knowledge from accessible sources, which are concerned with the theme. Then follows projection of variants and selection of suitable solution. With the help of obtained konwledge and the chosen variant is performed design proces. In the end is created a concept assemble of the machine. The design proces includes projecting of the individual parts, strength verification of the basic elements and design of heating device.
Contemporary design of rotary compressors, prevention of their surge
Kopáček, Petr ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with design of rotary compressors with analyse prevention of their surge. The first part is concerned with description of basic terms, which are important to understanding studied problem. Then, attention is given to literature, from which are gathered needed data. A description of design of rotary compressors aimed at prevention of surge follows. After that, the thesis is focused at antisurge control of rotary compressors, with consideration to Greitzers model.
Substation model with double busbar system
Kopáček, Petr ; Jurák, Viktor (referee) ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (advisor)
The goal of my Bachelor´s Thesis is to rebuild a single busbar medium voltage Switchgear substation model with two sections where one Switchgear cubicle represents the incoming breaker of the busbar section. Furtherly, the goal is to configure the model, test and put it into the operation for laboratory exercise. The base problems for model rebuild are described in the theoretical part which is followed by the description of rebuild for this particular case and solution of control and instruments interlocking configuration using CAP505 program. The updated drawings after the rebuild completion are attached. The conclusion of my Bachelor Thesis summarizes the problems identified during testing and their resolution. Few laboratory exercises are also included in the Thesis.
Comparative study of Trichomonas vaginalis strains with various level of metronidazole resistance
Havelka, Michal ; Tachezy, Jan (advisor) ; Kopáček, Petr (referee)
Trichomonas vaginalis is an anaerobic protozoan that causes the human disease trichomoniasis. The most commonly used drug against trichomoniasis is metronidazole. Metronidazole is highly effective, yet in some cases T. vaginalis is resistant to this drug. In T. vaginalis, we distinguish resistance to metronidazole into two types based on the conditions in which it occurs, aerobic and anaerobic resistance. Both types of resistance are associated with changes in the physiology of the parasite. The aim of this study was to characterize the changes in hydrogenosome and cytosol associated with metronidazole resistance at the proteome level in aerobically resistant clinical isolates, the aerobically resistant line MR3 and the anaerobically resistant line MR100. A further aim of this work was to characterize the function of hybrid- cluster protein and to clarify its role in resistance to metronidazole since its production is more abundant in both aerobically and anaerobically resistant T. vaginalis. This work contributed to identification of several potential proteins that could play a role in the development of metronidazole resistance and established a foothold for further metabolomic and biochemical studies of metronidazole resistant T.vaginalis.
Assessement of NTBC effectivity in protecting egg-laying hens aganinst red poultry mite infestation in poultry farms
Perner, Jan ; Hartmann, David ; Hatalová, Tereza ; Marešová, Lucie ; Řimnáčová, Lucie ; Kopáček, Petr ; Šimek, Petr
The aim of the project was to test a new acaricide (triketonoe-based agent) to reduce the population of the red poultry mite in experimental conditions.
Peptidases of Trematodes
Kašný, Martin ; Mikeš, Libor (advisor) ; Kopáček, Petr (referee) ; Haas, Wilfried (referee)
90 3. SUMMARY The text above refers about the majority of characterized trematode peptidases; the fundamental enzymes for trematode existence, which are integrated in many physiological processes like pathogenesis, tissue invasion/migration, nutrition, immune evasion and host-parasite interactions. In the history (until 1996), the peptidase catalytic activities in trematode extracts have been monitored. During 1980s and 1990s, the information of first cloned trematode peptidase genes were published and during last three decades cca 90 trematode peptidase sequences belonging to 19 peptidase families of 5 clans have been identified. The most studied trematode peptidases have been of Schistosoma mansoni origin: the serine peptidase - cercarial elastase (of cercariae), cysteine peptidases - cathepsins B, L, F, C plus the asparaginyl endopeptidase SmAE and the aspartic peptidase - cathepsin D (of adult worms and some other life stages). The recent computational cluster analysis revealed that the sequence S. mansoni elastase (the main cercarial penetration enzyme) is quite divergent from other serine peptidases of the S1 family. Cercarial elastase gene was proved in S. mansoni, S. haematobium and Schistosomatium douthitti, but not in the related S. japonicum. Mass spectrometry analysis confirmed cercarial...
