Biogeography and phenotypic plasticity in silica-scaled chrysophytes (Synurophyceae)

CONLUSIONS Results of the Papers 1 and 2 summarizing Mallomonas distribution rather support the"moderate endemicity model" of Foissner. The most of Mallomonas species were cosmopolitan or widely distributed, but we also found several species with geographically restricted occurrence contradicting the "ubiquity model". Besides two Asian endemics there are three Mallomonas species (M. multiunca, M. oviformis, and M. punctifera var. punctifera) not conforming to ubiquity model due to their highly nonrandom distribution in subtropic to subarctic zones of the Northern Hemisphere. Several others examples of Mallomonas species with restricted distribution are given in literature. Mallomonas kalinae was isolated and described from a peaty pool in North Bohemia (Paper 3). This strain together with the Synura curtispina strain was used for investigation of scale and bristle plasticity under different temperatures (Paper 4). Changes in morphology of silicate structures in relation to temperature were significant, although the large part of variability was caused by different position on the cell. Bristles become significantly shorter with increasing temperature. An inverse relationship between size of scales and temperature corresponding to the temperature-size rule was found. Analysis and risk assessment of construction technologies of structures in an integrated management system

This thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of quality, environmental and safety risks and the application of appropriate methodologies to concrete construction work. For application are selected key construction technologies, which are classified according to the Classification of building structures and works (TSKP) in Chapter main building production (HSV). From ČSN EN 31010 Risk management – Risk assessment techniques were selected for work tools - Causes and effect analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Pareto diagram, Bow tie analysis. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and assess the quality, environmental and safety risks of selected construction technologies and conditions established an integrated management system to handle simple tools for the management andelimination.

A Proposal of Changes in Motivation System in the Selected Company

The subject of the thesis is the design of changes in the incentive system in the selected company. Through the analysis of company documents, questionnaires and structured interviews is analyzed the current incentive system and its effect on the level of staff motivation. On the basis of empirical research are elaborated concrete proposals to optimize employee performance, increase the level of staff motivation and thereby strengthening the company's position in the market.

Detached house, Štěpánkovice

The Bachelor thesis topic is a project of a detached house. The house design is a two-story wooden building with a pitched roof and no basement. The wooden building is constructed of large panels and the roof is supported by G-N timber trusses. The entrance is situated in the northwest part of the house. Containing six bedrooms, the building layout fullfills the design for 4-6 family members. On the sheltered lee builds vestibule from which we get into the hall. The main hall opens to the kitchen and living room, stairs, and study room. As well, the main haill leads to the master bedroom which has a separate dressing room, bathroom, wash room, and utility room.There is access to the main hallway from the garage and side door. The second floor has three children's bedrooms, bathroom, and wash and dressing rooms. All of the bedrooms are accessible form the second-floor hallway.All of the bedrooms are enterable form the hall and are situated on south side. It is a wooden building of large-size panels. The roof is supported by G-N timber trusses.

Growing and usage of hemp in Czech Republic

The aim is to summarize information on growing possibilities of using hemp in the CR. Hemp is dioecious and monoecious crop that is grown for seed, fiber and biomass. In our area most often grown for seed, it is easier to harvest. In 2012 the Czech Republic had sown 275 ha of arable land. On the Czech market, the use of crops still growing. Businesses use it in many sectors, such as thermal insulation in the construction industry. In cosmetics it is used mainly due to oil which contains unsaturated fatty acids, hemp products and achieve demonstrable medicinal effects in diseases eczema and psoriasis. In 2013, also in Volary opened the first hemp bath with us, which thus became the largest in Europe. The work is prepared by literature review summarizes the knowledge of the botanical characteristics, principles of cultivation, utilization, economics, regulation and the growing use of state policy. Addendum to the literary section contains contact with growers and processors (questionnaire, hemp yields, photographic documentation of plants and products).

Metodika odběru a zpracování vzorků fytoplanktonu stojatých vod

In terms of the EU Water Framework Directive, we specified the method of estimation of phytoplankton biomass in the “Methodics of sampling and assessment of phytoplankton of standing waters” http://www.mzp.cz/C1257458002F0DC7/cz/prehled_akceptovanych_metodik_vod/$FILE/OOV-stojate_fytoplankton-20061001.pdf. We worked out a detailed description of the sampling, elaboration of samples, computing of results and introduction of data into the LABSYS database of Povodí ČR for achievement of reliable and complex information on ecological state of monitored water bodies. Data gained in such a way fully correspond to demands of European commission (Harmonization of freshwater biological methods).

On the origin of two Czech textile production terms

The topic of this paper is the etymological interpretation of two Czech dialectal names for the parts of weaving loom slupka and šmejholec. The origin of these words can only be explained by using the etymological method „Wörter und Sachen“, which insists on the knowledge of the technical and the functional aspect of things.

Tento recenzovaný sborník přináší výběr z referátů přednesených na konferenci Setkání mladých kroatistů, která se konala dne 13. dubna 2010 v prostorách Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. K jejímu uspořádání vedla organizátory snaha poskytnout studentům a mladým vědcům na poli kroatistiky prostor k prezentování výsledků jejich bádání. Většina referátů nebyla jednostranně kroatisticky zaměřená, ale danou problematiku traktovala v širším slovanském kontextu a mnohdy v konfrontaci s češtinou. Sborník nabízí čtenáři přehled dílčích výsledků aktuálně zpracovávaných vědeckých projektů mladých českých, slovenských a chorvatských badatelů v oblasti jazykovědné, literárněvědné a historické kroatistiky. Podobné práce zaměřené na chorvatskou filologii a historii jsou v českém odborném prostředí ojedinělé.
