Use of digital accelerometers in Linet bed controls
Dvořák, Ferdinand ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a design of methods for accelerometer usage in medical bed controllers in order to eliminate the activation button. In the introduction the Linet company is presented and the issue of legislation and safety of controling the medical beds is briefly discussed. This part is followed by a theoretical chapter considering MEMS technology and accelerometers. The metodology of reference and simulative signals acquisition is designed. These signals are then analysed. In following chapters the particular methods of solutions are presented. The comparison of the presented methods and the final summary of the thesis is included in the conclusion.

Rivolová, Kristýna ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with monitoring of persons in an enclosed space. The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with the issue of indoor localization and the subsequent creation of own solution using the ultrasound technology. Ultrasound technology should eliminate some deficiency of current technologies. The theoretical part includes the overview of some current methods. Last part of the thesis verifies the function of device.
ECG based atrial fibrillation detection
Prokopová, Ivona ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common cardiac rhythm disorders characterized by ever-increasing prevalence and incidence in the Czech Republic and abroad. The incidence of atrial fibrillation is reported at 2-4 % of the population, but due to the often asymptomatic course, the real prevalence is even higher. The aim of this work is to design an algorithm for automatic detection of atrial fibrillation in the ECG record. In the practical part of this work, an algorithm for the detection of atrial fibrillation is proposed. For the detection itself, the k-nearest neighbor method, the support vector method and the multilayer neural network were used to classify ECG signals using features indicating the variability of RR intervals and the presence of the P wave in the ECG recordings. The best detection was achieved by a model using a multilayer neural network classification with two hidden layers. Results of success indicators: Sensitivity 91.23 %, Specificity 99.20 %, PPV 91.23 %, F-measure 91.23 % and Accuracy 98.53 %.
Novel methods for sleep analysis and classification
Payment account
Kolářová, Jana ; Horáček, Tomáš (referee)
Payment account Abstract The firstpart of the thesis contains a brief historical development that preceded the creation of a payment account. Furthermore, its definition, essence and characteristic features. Subsequently, the legal regulation of the account is mentioned, both generally in the Civil Code, and all types of accounts are mentioned, as well as in related legal regulations. The thesis also analyzes the account contract, including the subjects of the contract, the requirements of the contract, possible forms of its conclusion, changes and cancellation. Subsequently, this work deals with the legal regulation of the payment account specified in the Payment System Act, while the work also mentions the development of European regulation in recent years. Furthermore, this work deals with the legal regulation of a payment account contract, which the Payment System Act refers to as a payment services contract, and as a framework contract. It also mentions a contract for a one-time payment transaction, an indirect payment order service, account information and marginally mentions the balance of money confirmation service, the so- called new service. Subsequently, this work deals with the conclusion, change or termination of a payment service contract, which is regulated by the Payment System Act, and also...
ECG based atrial fibrillation detection
Plch, Vít ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with detection of atrial fibrillation from HRV, classification of Poincare map and in the end the divide into two groups, one with detected atrial fibrillation and one not. The result is the decision on which variables are statistically significant for the identification of atrial fibrillations and which are not, and classification of the ECG signals with Bayes and Lavenberg-Marquardt neural networks. Bayes neural network with 23 neurons in hidden layer is best with F1 measure = 83,6 %, Sensitivity = 88,1 % and Specificity 94,5 %.

Evolution algorithms for ultrasound perfusion analysis
Kolářová, Jana ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This master´s thesis is focused on the application of evolutionary algorithms for interleaving data obtained by ultrasound scanning of tissue. The interleaved curve serves to estimate perfusion parameters, thus allowing to detect possible pathophysiology in the scanned area. The theoretical introduction is devoted to perfusion and its parameters, contrast agents for ultrasonic application, ultrasonic modality scanning, optimization, evolutionary algorithms in general and two selected evolutionary algorithms - genetic algorithm and bee algorithm. These algorithms were tested on noisy data obtained from clinical images of mice with tumor. The final part summarizes the results of the practical part and provides suggestions and recommendations for further possible development.
New features for real-time positioning system locator
Studený, Jakub ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the detection of falls and impacts, based on data obtained from inertial sensors, and by measuring the distance using a laser. The aim of this thesis is to extend the functionality of locators from Sewio. The thesis describes the procedure for designing algorithms for detection of falls and impacts. Then there is a procedure for development of hardware and software solution, for laser distance measurement by locator, together with presentation of achieved measurement results realized by locator after implementation of proposed solution. The work also emphasizes the minimization of energy consumption of individual solutions. In conclusion, there is a discussion of achieved results with evaluation of efficiency and usability of proposed solutions.
Novel cancer biomarkers derived from quantitative phase imaging of biopsy cells
Plišková, Diana ; Týč, Matěj (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The main objective of this work is the development of novel cancer biomarkers usable in personalized treatments. To understand why this issue is important, a brief description of cancer, including statistical results over the past years, is provided. The work also describes individual methods of light microscopy that can be used in cell analysis and subsequent image processing consisting of segmentation, tracking, feature extraction and classification. In this work, the main cell features, such as cell motility and shape, are presented. These features can be potential biomarkers in the treatment of cancer.
