Automatic Video Colorization
Mikeska, Tomáš ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with fully automatic colorization of video and images using convolutional neural networks. It summarizes existing approaches, architectures and several objective functions. In this thesis several neural networks with different objective functions are implemented and trained for automatic colorization. The best of them is able to colorize large diversity of scenes and is sufficient to produce coherently colorized video.
Planning System for Healthcare Services
Schauer, Marek ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
The information system presented in this work allows planning of nursing care and simplifies its implementation and reporting of care givers. The development of the information system was consulted with a real nursing service located in Bratislava - Karlova Ves. The system offers client records, care giver records, planning of caretaking with the possibility of exceptions and a unique reporting mechanism using geolocation and time stamps. The caretaking system was implemented using web technologies and it is possible to use the system independently of platforms or places. Introduced information system is possible to expand by creating plug-in modules. The goal was to create an application, which is easy to use and has user-friendly experience with the possibility of using in terrain.
Recording Plan Design in Movie Production
Šmerda, Jakub ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of an effective system for creating recording plan in movie production. The system creates a clear view on the data of all elements involved in the shooting of the film and finding the optimal data for each scene, trying to create an environment that facilitates film production up to the creation of recording plan.
Vistual Waiting Room Client for Service Provider
Křek, Radim ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
Very often we get into situation where we have to wait a long time in queue wher nobody knows who's next. Therfore we have more systems based on Virtual queues. This bachelor's thesis deals with a description of the creation of Android application which will work as client for Virtual queue based system. It also describes the server and communication protocol as an essential components for the correct functioning of the application.
Algorithm for Virtual Waiting Room Handling
Mrázek, Patrik ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with a virtual waiting room topic. It informs about currently available products and programming tools. The thesis evaluates them and provides a solution to imperfections found in a current state. The output is an algorithm for handling booking requests in a waiting room. The algorithm solves an inefficient usage of business hours originating from unoptimal requests from a client side. This thesis also describes the created solution in terms of principal of functionality and analyses a success rate of the solution ascertained from a usage simulation.
Mobile Application for Diabetes Monitoring
Gabčo, Jakub ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
In the present time, all processes are automated. They are moving to smaller devices. Many people with diabetes, instead of prescribed diabetics journals, use mobile applications that help and simplify work with diabetes. This thesis analyzes and compares existing apps. After all, it describes draft of the application and its implementation. The result is verified by testers and publicly posted to production.
Detection of Groups and Duplicities of Photos
Václavík, Vojtěch ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis aims to create an application that allows import of photographs and to sort duplicities. The application simplifies the import by showing already imported photographs and also hiding the not necessary ones. The application can also be used for finding duplicities or comparing folders, helping the user to clean their photo gallery. Other than that, it is also possible to show photographs with similar timestamps. To identify duplicates the application uses EXIF metadata included in photographs. The application was implemented in C++, graphical interface in Qt framework, work with metadata mediates EasyEXIF library and the database communication uses SQLite library.
Playing Gomoku with Neural Networks
Bako, Matúš ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create an artificial intelligence for playing Gomoku. While conventional methods usually use state space search combined with predefined rules, this artificial intelligence uses state space search and learned neural networks. A strategic network computes probability distribution for given a board state and a value network determines outcome of the game from a given board state. I trained multiple architectures of neural networks with different number of convolutional layers and different sizes of convolution kernels. Experiments show, that it is problematic to end a game without using the value network or search algorithm, but the strategic network can be used as a heuristic for choosing next move. Despite using relatively small dataset, created artificial intelligence is capable of beating weaker programs from Gomocup competition.
Applications of Computers in Fishing Ship
Březina, Zdeněk ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to examine the problematics of embedded systems for boat fishing and analyzing the existing solutions. The main goal is to design author's own complex solution. The author's solution consists of a mutually communicating Android application and an Arduino-based platform with the necessary sensors.
Video Content Summarization
Jaška, Roman ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The amount surveillance footage recorded each day is too large for human operators to analyze. A video summary system to process and refine this video data would prove beneficial in many instances. This work defines the problem in terms of its inputs, outputs and sub-problems, identifies suitable techniques and existing works as well as describes a design of such system. The system is implemented, and the results are examined.
