Migration of Workers from the Ukraine to the Czech Republic and its Diversification

The thesis is focused on the fundamental causes of migration of people from the Ukraine to other countries, specially to the Czech Republic. It explores problems of legal and illegal working movements of migrants from the Ukraine in the Czech Republic and also on preventive and supportive activities of governmental and non-governmental organizations that are linked to the problems. The target of the thesis is to formulate basic problems in the area of a giving work to the Ukranians in the Czech Republic, to compare legal and illegal methods of obtaining all documents which are needed and also a work itself, to outline the cohesion of so-colled client system and an organize crime in the shape of the human traffic. In the thesis there are also involved some possibilities of positive influence by co- operation between governmental and non-gevernmental organizations. I have gathered from the valid legitimate adjustments, expert articles, publications and docucuments, all are mentioned in list of literature. The thesis involves my personal experience and findings acquired during my practice and volunteering in different places organizations. The Differences in Social Work with Newcomers in Various Settings

The topic of my bachelor work is aimed to social work with asylum seekers, refugees in the Great Britain, Armenia and the Czech Republic. In this paper I would like to shortly describe history, legislative framework and also work or duties of people working with asylum seekers, refugees or any kind of newcomers inside countries I have mentioned above. Another goal of the paper work describes situation of newcomers in these states. The choice of compared countries was based on dissimilar experiences with newcomers linked also with different economic situation in each particular state. Sources of information come as from practical experiences (practical training placement, voluntary work etc.) as from literature and Internet. In each country I try pick up main or specific problem, advantages and disadvantages of the system. At the end of the work I show some possibility of the future in social work with newcomers. Gender Sensitive Social Work With Female Asylum Seekers

Tato práce si klade za cíl nastínit možnosti genderově senzitivní sociální práce s uprchlíky, specifičtěji se ženami, které obdržely status uprchlíka v naší zemi (azylantky). Jde o popsání některých aspektů, které by mohly vést k genderově senzitivnímu přístupu v sociální práci ve této oblasti. Tyto východiska se snaží postihnout potřebu komplexního a širšího pojetí aspektu gender v oblasti sociální práce s migranty (uprchlíky/azylanty). Především z důvodu nutnosti senzitivního citlivého zacházení s postavením ženy v její zemi původu, její eventuelní změny role v průběhu migrace, tedy její proměňujícímu se genderu v důsledku příslušnosti k určité skupině na základě pohlaví. Významnou roli hraje také řada psychologických jevů, které souvisejí s uprchlickou zkušeností a následný senzitivní přístup k lidem s touto specifickou zkušeností. Genderový aspekt se nutně stává součástí procesu navrhování a implementace kvalitních a odpovídajících sociálních služeb poskytovaných tomuto typu klientely jak v procesu migrace, tak v procesu integračním. V práci nejprve uvedu teoretická východiska potřebná pro osvojení si širšího - celostního pojetí a odpovídajícího diskurzu. The Danish System of Out-Of Home Care

This dissertation tries to deal with differences and similarities in Danish and Czech system of out of- home care. It describes the system of out-of-home care in Denmark and compares some particular topics with the system of out-of-home care in Czech Republic. This comparison should serve as an inspiration for the Czech system, which in many ways needs to be improved. It may be a bit surprising, that the share of children, who are brought up in different kinds of out of home care is about the same in Denmark and in Czech Republic. Where these two systems differ is the balance between different types of out-of-home care. The Czech system still deals with a big amount of children in different types of residential care rather than in foster care or adoption. The other big difference is in the matter of how the systems are organised in general. Danish system seems to give bigger emphasis on the personal responsibility and ability to make a right decision about the future of a child or a young person, which is then not needed to be examine by another authority. Strong emphasis is put on the responsible work of each local authority. Danish system is also more systematical than the Czech one in the matter of social work with family of the placed child and systematic work with the child's case in general....

The Succession Between Social Care and Institutions for Children and Youth

Mit dieser Arbeit bemühe ich mich festzustellen, was die junge Leute nach der Ende der Anstaltserziehung erwartet. Ich habe meine Untersuchung an das Gebiet Český Brod und die Umgebung eingestellt. Es interessiert mich, wer die Hilfe den jungen Leuten anbietet, die aus den inderheimennd der Erziehunganstalten fortgehen. Diese junge Leute haben keine Familienhinterland, keine Sicherheit, keine Stütze und vornehmlich keine Finanzmittel. Ich habe den jungen Leuten die Fragebogen geschickt, damit ich feststestellen konnte, welche Pläne sie in die Zukunft haben. In diesem Sozialbereich hilft den jungen Menschen nur der Sozialkurator . Die Einwohner der Stadt Český Brod müssen sich das Beispiel nehmen und eine Organisation gründen, die den jungen Leuten mit ihren Problemen hilfsbereit würde, die die Anstaltserziehung hinter sich haben. Construction of programme: Social integration of persons threatened with unemployment and its impacts back to labour market in view of the social environment of an unemployed

V bakalářské práci jsem hledala odpověď na otázku, zda je region hlavního města Prahy dostatečně zajištěn sociálními službami, které se zabývají nezaměstnaností jako primárním problémem obyvatelstva. Po Praze existuje několik sociálních služeb, které se zabývají nezaměstnaností, jsou to však služby, které se starají pouze o nalezení zaměstnaní nebo pomáhají lidem, kteří mají specifický problém a nezaměstnanost je pouze sekundární. Takové služby jsou primárně zaměřené na jinou cílovou skupinu. Zjistila jsem tedy, že by sociální služba zaměřená na specifické potíže plynoucí z nezaměstnanosti, měla své místo. Porovnáním statistik Asociace občanských poraden a Psychosociální poradny jsem zjistila, že nezaměstnaní lidé sami vyhledávají necílené služby se svými problémy. V další části bakalářské práce jsem navrhovala službu, která v tomto regionu chybí. Tato služba je primárně zaměřená na podporu jedince v jeho snaze znovu se aktivně zapojit do komunitního života. Vychází z předpokladu, že při ztrátě zaměstnání jedinec netrpí pouze hmotným nedostatkem, ale také psychickými a sociálními dopady. Zaměřila jsem se tedy na další aspekty dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti a službu navrhovala tak, aby vyhovovala velkému množství klientů. Needs Analysis in the locality of Prague 21. Development potentialities for civic association "Neposeda"

Cílem práce je zmapovat aktuální stav v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21 nejen z hlediska situace v sociálních službách, ale i řady dalších ukazatelů, poskytnout všeobecný přehled a na základě výsledků navrhnout opatření. Práce vyjasňuje, jakým směrem (v souladu s posláním a cíli sdružení) je možné rozvíjet aktivity občanského sdružení Neposeda a rozšířit stávající nabídku, eventuálně vyplnit chybějící typy služeb. Zpracovaný materiál bude využitelný nejen jmenovaným sdružením, ale i širší veřejností. Pro zpracování dat byla zvolena metoda diagnózy komunity vytvořená CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování. Ze závěrů této práce bude možné konstruovat nový program. Úvodní část práce popisuje historii občanského sdružení Neposeda, následuje podrobný výčet jeho současných aktivit a návrh aktivit plánovaných na základě dosavadních zkušeností. Druhá kapitola zahrnuje teoretický výklad pojmů komunita a komunitní plánování, prakticky ukotvený popisem reálné pozice o.s. Neposeda v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21. Závěrečná část obsahuje data vztahující se k lokalitě Praha 21 získaná metodou diagnózy komunity vytvořenou CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování - profily dle jednotlivých oblastí včetně syntézy diagnózy...

Eating habits and lifestyle of patients with cardiovascular disease

The theoretical part deals with cardiovascular diseases and controllable and uncontrollable risk factors. It also includes preventive nutrition, nutrition during any of KVO diseases and nutrition needed for physical activity. Cardiovascular diseases are all diseases of the heart muscle and blood vessels either acquired or congenital.It is an individual process in which the most important role is being played by heredity and lifestyle. It is important to have a primary prevention. For processing the research part of the thesis I have chosen the survey method. The practical part includes results of the survey attended by 80 men after a first myocardial infarction. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the dietary habits of patients with cardiovascular disease before the diagnosis. A second objective was to evaluate the lifestyle quality of patients with cardiovascular disease before the diagnosis.

Environment influence on child's artistic expression

The study is dealing with the influence of environment to the children{\crq}s creative expression. Aim of the work is to find out, what is the difference between the creative expressions of the children from common families, those from problematic families, who are currently growing up in one of the facilities for children requiring immediate assistance and those who are being grown up in other institution or sanatorium. The study is not focused to the complex level of quality of creative expression only, but also to the level of formal part of the creative expression, and, first of all, to the contentual part of the graphics, especially when drawing topics are linked to the family. In the theoretical section, the basic terms linked to the given problems are defined. First of all, the problems linked with the life in the family, with the creative expression and methods of the family psychological diagnostics are concerned. Practical section is aimed to make clear, what is the difference among creative expression of the children between 6 to 12 years of age, who are growing up in different environment (children from common families, those from problematic families, who are currently growing up in one of the facilities for children requiring immediate assistance and those who are being grown up in the children{\crq}s house). For the needs of practical section the method of qualitative research was selected, where the main focus is to assess the creative expression of the individual children. For data collection purpose, the method of Family draw was selected, that was extended and modified for the need of the study. The main part of the study is comprised by the summary of the results and their interpretation.
