The Employment Prospects of Persons with Disabilities in the Open Labour Market

The thesis is focused on the employment of persons with disabilities in the open labour market. The concepts related to disability and handicap have been dealt in the theoretical part as so as the importance of employment for people with disabilities, employment issues and embedding the right to work in an international and Czech rule of law have been discussed. In the empirical part the attitudes of employers to the disabled employees, their motives and experiences are evaluated. In the frame of thesis, that is being reached by qualitative research using the semi-structured interviewing employers in three districts of the Central Bohemia.
Macropraxis as the still neglected element in the Czech social work

Diploma thesis analyses the macro practice in the Czech social work. It defines macro practical concept and its relationship to social policy and community social work by analysing the Czech and foreign specialized publications. It defines the key knowledge, skills and abilities which macro practicioner should manage. It emphasizes the macro scope towards the political representation. Macro practical methods are presented too. Diploma thesis defines two main principles - networking and evidence based practice. At first, macro practicioner is the creator of professional's networks or social services network. Secondly, in the evidence based practice macro practicioner is obligated to manage his decision making process on the base of the best and the most recent scientific researches. It all concludes the macro practice framework, which leads to the efective work with social excluded people. Macro practice is viewed as the approach, which helps clients, communities, regions and target groups in the implementation of their civil right, when it uses the enpowerment techniques. Empowerment of seniors for managing their financial resources

The work deals with the process undergone by several clients in the Senior Homes. The range of programs includes the ability to support the money management, which contains a re-authorizing of a client to manage his own assets. Some clients weaned for money utilization due to the system of care in hospitals or their families. Although they suffer from memory disorders or different attenuation, with the help of the team they meet one of their needs, gain self-confidence, and their quality of life improves. Other clients come to fear the debt and distrainment and grieve for the hopelessness of their situation. Help with paying and the ability to manage their liabilities are reflected in their mental and physical health, as well as the resumption of contacts with the family. Clients who feared their future due to various newly introduced charges, or clients who could not get along with your income and to defer a pleasure, they appreciated in the course of the program its benefits for themself and their favor. This study confirms source of considerations on assistance options and specific situations in which clients found the necessary support and incentives to correct their conditions. Working opportunities on the labour market for people with long-term mental disease

This theis deals with the possibilites of employment of people with long-term mental illness in the labor market. The work will not only be mentioned description of the types of selected mental illness, but mainly deals the application of people with condition in the labour market, whether open or protected. The work is not forgotten legislative treatment of this issue in the Czech Republic, ie the legal protection of people with mental illness. The practical part was implemented in an organization that assists these people to return to society.
Guaranteed ethics and human rights website homes for people with disabilities

This thesis deals with the guarantee of ethics and human rights on the website of homes for people with disabilities. The theoretical part explains basic concepts such as: strategic documents in support of ethics and human rights, human rights, the importance of human rights in social services, ethical theory, professional ethics, values, value systems, and standards of quality in social services. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of documents to determine the extent of guarantee of human rights and ethical principles. Documents in this case are the websites of homes for people with disabilities registered in the register of providers of social services in the Czech Republic. The research is supplemented by the analysis of several websites where it was examined whether social workers have support on the Internet in this area of social work. Critical social work as a basis for practical social work focusing on people with disabilities

This thesis deals with critical social work and its potential use in social work, which is aimed at people with disabilities. This thesis has a theoretical character. The first two parts describe the issue of disability and current social work focused on individuals with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The third part is devoted to the development, methods and techniques of critical social work with a focus on the practical application of social work with people with disabilities. It concludes with recommendations on how to incorporate elements of critical social work in the training of social workers and subsequently to the practical social work with individuals with disabilities.
The possibilities of implementation of school social work to the elementary schools in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of implementation of school social work to the elementary schools in the Czech Republic. In the introduction, the thesis focuses on general inside of issues of school social work and the role of school social worker is characterized here. It also focuses on possible problems with implementation of school social work. In the next part, the diploma thesis deals with the practice of school social work in foreign countries and also with the current state of school counseling in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis also focuses on legislative system and it suggests the possible future form of school social work in the Czech Republic. The conclusion outlines the proposal of specialized education program for school social workers in the Czech Republic.

The Importance of Social Firm in Social Integration of Persons with Mental Diseases

The dissertation look into the question what social firm has a impact on the social integration of people with mental diseases. It is divided into theoretical part, profiles of surveyed organizations and practical part. In theoretical parts are offered definitions of the various authors about social integration, social firms, persons with mental illness. Definition of approaching the issue. There are also published theories, which were subsequently verified in the empirical work. Brief profiles of organizations includes two social firms and one sheltered workshop. In empirical part was a qualitative research aimed at answering research questions. They were directed to full the objectives of the work. The main method in this case were semi-structured interviews. Work leads to knowledge, some of which support the theoretical ssumptions about the importance of social integration firm. However, some theoretical knowledge about the importance of social integration, were not confirmed by the results of empirical research. The analysis of financial resources of preventive social services providers in Liberec region

This thesis aims to answer the question how preventive social service providers, operating in the Liberec region, use the potential of financial resources from private budgets. The reason for this is the non-conceptual system of multi-source financing of social services in the Czech republic and lack of financial resources for social services funding from public budgets. The work is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter is a purely theoretical platform for the whole work. It defines the origin and role of social rights, the welfare state and the European Union in the social policy system of the Czech republic. It deals also with the social services system in the Czech Republic and their planning. The second chapter is devoted to analysis of possible funding sources for financing of social services.The third chapter focuses on stability of social service providers. The last chapter forms the practical part of the work and processes the research survey in given area.
