The Role of The School Management in Providing Education of Hanndicappet Childern, Pupils and Students with The Support of Pedagogical Assistance

This final bachelor's work deals with problems of providing pedagogical assistance during the education of handicapped children, pupils and students. In many cases the handicapped children, pupils and students need pedagogical assistance support to fulfil their vested rights for education. The position of a pedagogical assistant as a pedagogical worker has been entrenched in our legislation rather shortly. The goal of the qualitative research, which is a part of this work, is to map the spots which have occurred to be problematic in the views of headmasters who are employing pedagogical assistants. The method of interviews with several headmasters of different types of schools and promoters in the Central Bohemian Region was used. The experience of these headmasters is utilised in the final suggestion of an optimal process for the school management on the occasion of setting up the function of the pedagogical assistant.
