THE EFFECT OF RESIDENTIAL SUBURBANIZATION ON TRANSPORT AND ITS REGULATION THROUGH SPATIAL PLANS IN PRAGUE'S EASTERN HINTERLAND

One of the most frequently mentioned negative effects of suburbanisation is the effect on traffic. New suburb residents daily commute to the centre of the urban region to work and to access services. Unlike the original residents, they use cars more extensively as a means of transport. This causes high traffic volume on roads (especially those which are radially oriented), which were not designed for it. As a consequence, traffic congestion during peak hours occurs regularly. This problem can be solved through a variety of measures. This thesis focuses only on one group of measures - tools of spatial planning. In the case of Prague, suburban housing has developed extremely quickly over the last 20 years. As a result, the problem and its solution are even more difficult. Pressure on land use in the city's hinterland is greater than in Western Europe, where the suburbanization process took place gradually. Moreover, spatial planning tools were affected by changes in public administration (formation of regions). The thesis models the impact of residential suburbanization on traffic. It then examines whether spatial planning tools are sufficient to control that impact or if there is a threat that traffic should become a barrier to development. Application for Recognition of Hematoma on Skin

This bachelor thesis contains a theoretical basic that introduces problem of skin hematoma formation, image segmentation using the OpenCV library and platform operating system Android. This thesis describes the design and implementation of application for recognition of hematoma on the skin. The application is developed for tablets running operation system Android and it will be used for medical purposes and to facilitate the work of medical.

Visualisation of Path-Planning for Aircrafts

This thesis compiles basic methods of path planning and their application to problems involving path planning for aircraft. Work discusses selection of algorithms suitable for introduction of aircraft-oriented path planning to the reader and their subsequent implementation. Main objective of the thesis is to create an applet capable of visualisation of chosen algorithms and its placement onto a website, which provides theoretical explanation of said planning algorithms.

Application of Risk Analysis on Biometric Person Recognition and on Selected Tasks in a Company

This master's thesis has been created in order to enhance the security, reliability and quality of specific biometric devices and in order to achieve higher work efficiency of specific company. Both existing biometric devices and one new prototype have been chosen for the evaluation. First it was necessary to acquire the basic principles and structure of analyzed subjects. In order to achieve the goals, several risk analyses have been performed. Based on results of performed analyses the most key threats have been identified. For these threats the corrective actions have been suggested in order to make the probability of these threats as low as possible. This thesis also contain the results of performed analyses and benchmarking of the devices from the risk point of view.

Computer Library with Clustering Methods

The aim of this work is to create a library with chosen clustering methods, to compare their effectiveness and their properties by testing them on different input data sets. The aim of the testing is to determine efficiency of a method, to determine advantages and disadvantages of a method to cluster general input data or to cluster only data of specific shapes. Stages of development of the library are also documented in the text of this work.

Detection and Classification of Military Targets in a Videosignal

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement algorithms for detection and classification of distant targets. The reader will become familiar with algorithms for detection of a movement, namely image difeerentiation and an algorithm based on a Bayes classifier. In the following two possible ways of classification, one using support vector machines and the second one utilizing a set of linear classifiers, will be introduced. At the end of this thesis results of the algorithms will be described and evaluated.

Augmented Reality for Training and Execution of Airplane Maintenance

This thesis deals wtih augmented reality applied to aircraft maintenance which is widely explored here. Furthermore, a reseach is done on the previous work done in this field. A video data-set is acquired from LET - a manufacturer of LET L-410 aircraft and an application is created in order to test possibilities of using augmented reality in aircraft maintenance. The result and proposals of the future work can be found in this thesis as well

Brain Signals Visualization

EEG je neinvazivní metoda pro měření mozkové aktivity, která poskytuje důležitý náhled do činnosti lidského mozku. Tato práce prezentuje aplikaci, která slouží jako vizuálni nástroj pro analýzu EEG dat. Koncept aplikace je založen na jiných existujících řešeních, které byly v rámci práce analyzovány. Aplikace kombinuje prohlížeč signálů ve formě vícenásobného čárového grafu s 2D a 3D vizualizacemi užitečnými pro rozpoznání specifické mozkové aktivity. Součásti aplikace je i sada metod pro zpracování signálu. Závěr práce je věnován shrnutí dosažených výsledků a plánů pro další vývoj aplikace.
