My essay is about productivity and its metering. I distributed it into three parts. In the first part I describe theoretic apparatus. The second part contains calculations of total and partial productivity and year-on-year confrontation. Analysis was made for 6 years, it means from 2003 to 2008. In the last part, there I define possibilities, how we can escalate productivity. I wanted to show you very specific production for pharmaceutical and food-processing industry, for which Pharming a.s. produces.

Financial analysis of Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth JSC

The financial situation and financial economy are to be controlled by a whole complex of indicators and their values looked on in the time progress and context so that the evaluation outcome may reflect the whole economic state of the company and enable to point out causes of the actual situation. If the firm shall be economically flourishing, the financial analysis has to be a part of the complex of the company's financial management because it provides a feedback between the expected effect of managing decisions and experience. The elaborated analysis is focussed on detection of weak and strong points of the firm. The goal of my diploma thesis was to elaborate a financial analysis containing my theoretical experience. Despite of the fact that the financial analysis does not bring a complete answer to all questions the company have been asking themselves, it is a great constribution to the evaluation of the past development, detection of problematical areas and prediction of the future development.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to carry out financial analysis of the Madeta joint-stock company and to assess the company's financial health. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes methods and tools, which are applicated for the evaluation of the development of the financial health in the practical part.

Lean enterprise

This thesis should present some ideas from the lean enterprise, management approach, which is currently very popular. At first the Toyota Production System will be introduced in theoretical part, because the lean philosophy is largely based on it. Then I will take a closer look on some specific ideas from this philosophy. The practical part should introduce Valeo Production System, the production system of Valeo výmněníky tepla k. s. This company should provide prefect example, because it is significant supplier to the automotive industry, so the majority of methods is in the company applied for a long time, and therefore is the main part of the thesis analysis of this system rather than description of implementation. Nevertheless, the thesis may also serve as a good inspiration for companies, which want to know more about lean production systems.

Analyze of production system effectiveness

In a current competitive environment if the company wants to survive and last for a long time it has to be well organized, ruled properly and it must use all of its resources effectively. Effective use should be applied to every resource and production factor on each company level. If using inputs effectively a company might produce a bigger number of products or provide a wider variety of services. The costs and expenses will decline and the revenues from a product will rise. This work's aim is to analyze company's productivity, since it is one of the most important parts of analysis of production system effectiveness.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the financial analysis of the company ZVVZ a.s. during the period of 2003 - 2007. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the methodological part are introduced theoretical bases for financial analysis. In the application part I closely looked at calculation of particular indexes which I used for the evaluation of the financial situation in analyzed company.

Financial analysis of company Stavby silnic a železnic, a. s.

The main purpose of presented diploma work is complex assessment of financial position of company Stavby silnic a železnic a. s. in 2003 - 2007, recognition of causes and proposal of possible steps leading to improvement. Partial aim of my work is comparison of bonding and bankrupting models applied to the mentioned company and mutual confrontation of these two models. Further aim is calculation of economic added value and subsequent analysis of input variable parameters sensitivity in relation to economic value added. Third partial purpose concerns the intercompany comparison and confrontation of this company with relevant branch.

The valuation of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

The diploma thesis aims to determinate the value of the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., which provides mobile telecommunications services in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the basic valuation terminology, provides an overview of a valuation procedure and introduces business valuation methods. The practical part contains the strategic analysis, the financial analysis, the analysis and the forecast of value drivers followed by the financial plan and the final valuation of the company. The value of the company is determined by the income approach, specifically by the methodology of the discounted cash flow to the firm. The sensitivity analysis at the end of the thesis identifies crucial factors having an impact on the value of the company.

Finanční analýza společnosti Subterra a. s.

Obsahem bakalářské práce je zpracování finanční analýzy firmy. V první řadě se zabývá historií a účelem finanční analýzy. Dále uvádí zdroje potřebné pro správné provedení finanční analýzy a vyjmenovává uživatele včetně jejich informačních potřeb. Bakalářská práce shrnuje v obecné rovině především metody finanční analýzy. Tyto metody jsou pak aplikovány při finanční analýze společnosti Subterra a. s. Pozornost je zaměřena na provedení horizontální a vetikální analýzy účetních výkazů a na využití rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů pro zjištění finanční situace firmy.
