Economic evaluation of selected investments
Klíma, Jindřich ; Homolka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main topic and goal of this diploma thesis Ekonomické zhodnocení vybraných investic is the evaluation of the certain economic investment in weatherproofing of the school canteen building in Kynšperk nad Ohři using data and information given by the management of this elementary school. For evaluation were used different statistical methods that take into consideration not just period of time but also a point of view of a long-term return on investment. This thesis deals with other possibilities which could lead to better utilization of investment comparing accessible sources during the implementation. The last part of this thesis deals with whether the investment was used properly and if the using of chosen materials and technologies was the best way of the profitability.
Analysis of steel grade influence on small induction machine efficiency
Plíšek, Oldřich ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The theoretical part of the bechelors thesis examining the impact of the material of the magnetic circuit on the efficiency of induction motors is devoted to analysis of the induction motor and its losses. It also describes the measuring, including calculations of individual losses. Another theoretical part examines the impact of specific losses on the magnetization characteristics of assessed laminations. The practical part includes laboratory measurements of single phase and three phase motors ATAS Electromotory Náchod brand with multiple types of laminations. Measured values are used to calculate individual losses, which are later mutually compared. Models of measured motors with multiple types of laminations are simulated with the aid of ANSYS Maxwell RMxprt program. Analysis of engines with specific types of laminations are performed with the aid of analytical calculations. Results of calculations are compared with simulated and measured values.
Measurement and analysis of high speed squirrel cage induction motor
Kaczmarczyk, Ruben ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Klíma, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is focused on familiarization with classical asynchronous and high-speed motors, their construction and principle. There are also described constructional peculiarities of the high-speed motor and comparison of losses between both motors. Then, on the basis of production documantation a simplified calculation of the particular asynchronous motor is made. Analytical calculation is also made in RMxprt program after setting of all given parameters of the motor. Experimental measurment upon the laboratory sample for the verification of given qualities is also embodied in the bachelor thesis.
Analysis of the Lifestyle of University Students in BUT
Klíma, Josef ; Muchová, Marta (referee) ; Lepková, Hana (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis of the lifestyle of university students. Considers their habits of the lifestyle, exercising physical activities and the habits of alimentation. Specifies the theoretical findings of the healthy lifestyle and compares them with the results of the research among the university students in period between January 2013 and November 2013.
Design and measurement of a small induction motor
Fišer, Jan ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and measurement of a small induction motor. The introduction describes a structure and an operating principle of the induction motor. The following part deals with analytical calculation of three-phase induction motor‘s properties. Next are executed an analytical calculations and a finite element method calculations by the Maxwell software. In the end are these calculations compared with results from measurement.
Simulation of electric machines
Klíma, Jiří ; Mišinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling and simulations of DC and AC machines. They were created by four mathematical models. Three models of DC motors with different type of excitation (compound, serial, derivative) and one model for asynchronous motor. All models were implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. After measuring and setting the basic parameters of the machines, simulations were running. Simulation results are then compared with measured waveforms.
Determination of the temperature reactivity coefficient for Nuclear power plant Dukovany
Klíma, Jakub ; Bajgl, Josef (referee) ; Raček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the re-determination of the temperature reactivity coefficient of the Nuclear power plant Dukovany, which is measured within the physical test Reheating of the cooling to 260 °C. This paper contains description of the types of nuclear reactors launching, list of tests which are performed during these startings and it also describes methods for determination of temperature reactivity coefficient. Last part of this thesis includes description of programme which was created for determining temperature reactivity coefficient from given files and verification of its calculating methods by statistical test.
Thermovision of photovoltaic modules authomatic analysis
Klíma, Jakub ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with diagnostics of photovoltaic panels especially with infrared diagnostics. There are described defects which we can examine using thermovision and also this thesis explains the cause of their formation. Practical part deals with the design of the program that automatically detects defects on infrared images.
Measurement uncertainty in developmental testing of circuit-breakers and their accessories
Klíma, Jaroslav ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on direct and indirect uncertainty of measurement for development testing of circuit breakers. The goal is size of uncertainty of performance and create solution for better quality of measurement. Practical part compare calculated value with measured value and define expanded uncertainty of indirect measurement of performance.
Optimizing design of electric machines
Šporcr, Viktor ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Semester theses focus on optimisation methods useful for construction electric machines. Contain elementary sorting optimization methods and brief description of their algorithms. In these theses is foreshadow how shape of asynchronous stator core should be optimized for better effectivity. Next chaps are discuss about application optimization methods to concrete induction motor.
