Solution milling with CNC machine.
Chlup, Martin ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis includes the solution of production technology of the motor´s stator. It also solves the problem of substitutive production when the serious production is stopped. Technology of series production was used by company Hanakov, inc. It also refers to functional possibilities of tools and machines at shaping the motor´s stator.

overview modern methods in boring work, boring machines, tools, trade off, cutting conditions, liquidy, confrontation to methods finishing cut hole.
Heat processing principle of operation thermal resistance annealing.
Špičková, Petra ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The project assigned for the bachelors study program B 2307 analyses the theory of heat processing in general and furthermore resistance annealing with the focus on the technology developed by the company Heatmasters. Examples of processing methods used at other technology providers are presented, inclu-ding documentation and datasheets. Resistance annealing is based on the heat transfer from a resistive wire, which heats up by electrical current. The thermal energy is then transferred to the target material through heat radiation or con-ductance. The resistance heat processing is used both for welding and for an-nealing. Nowadays is the documentation and recording of the heat processing of significant importance. Possibilities exist that allow recording of temperature during the entire cycle of the heat processing and subsequently providing the result evidence in a form of a certificate.
Modernization of 3D measuring instrument
Janoušek, Pavel ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is solving modernization of 3D measuring instrument. The modernization was necessary for implementation of new activities. Based on customer’s requirements, a new Incoming Inspection for the new projects was established. Another reason for modernization is development of new products. These new products require the most modernized measuring technology. There are presented 4 variants of solution.
The use of air as a measuring media for the detection of leaks in the automotive industry
Babický, Jan ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the attributes and usage of air, as a measurement medium for detection and verifying of the leakage range of the measured composition. The goal of this thesis is to generally learn about the detection methods of the leakage range, which are used in the broad technical praxis and about the effects, which can sometimes substantially influence this measurement. In detail, this thesis deals with methods, which use as a testing medium compressed air. The practical goal of this bachelor thesis is the comparison of the measurement methods, alternatively proposal of a new method for the detection of the leakage range of the shaft sealing of the common rail high-pressure pumps, manufactured by the company Bosch Diesel s.r.o. in Jihlava, specifically at product series CPN5.
Technical Preparation of Production Injection Mold
Drbal, Jindřich ; Zahradníček, Radim (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is gathering of data needed for manufacturing of a part in injection mold. The initial part deals with progression of plastic as a material followed by description of a parts of injection mold. Ensuing layout of a tools for manufacturing and then the simulation itself.
Measuring of hardness of rotary part.
Muzikant, Miroslav ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The first part of this thesis deals with theoretical analyses of primary hardness measuring method. The second part describes issues of hardness measuring on rotary components, especially preparation of measured surface and establishing of these components. In the end of the thesis, there are practical exaples of measuring.
Process fluids using during machining
Paučo, Jakub ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Gregor, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of process fluids used in machining. The first chapter deals with the cutting environment and the functions of process fluids. The second chapter describes the important properties of process fluids and the third chapter describes the various types of fluids and other methods of cooling and lubrication of machining processes. The fourth chapter discusses the use of process fluids in specific machining methods. This involves drilling deep holes and grinding. The following fifth chapter describes dry machining and all its methods. The sixth chapter is devoted to the impact of process fluids on the environment and also lists ecological alternatives to the conventional method of cooling and lubrication of the machining process, such as the use of vegetable oils or the MQL/MQCL method. The last seventh chapter contains a comparison of dry machining and the MQL / MQCL method, as well as an evaluation of future developments in the field of process fluids.
The influence of process liquids on the machining process
Lišková, Tereza ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The content of my study is related to the coolant comparison in machining manufacturing process. Subject of analysis is a company which produce vacuum pumps and machine parts from aluminium castings and billets. My records and final analysis are a recommendation of the suitable coolant for the manufacturing process in terms of their Lean production system´s KPI´s (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs).
Analysis of results from experimental electrodischarge sinking of special materials for aerospace industry
Macháčová, Veronika ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is experimental electric discharge sinking of special materials for the aerospace industry. The first part is a general overview regarding the technology of electric discharge machining with emphasis on electric discharge sinking. Following this is a practical part devoted to the electric discharge sinking of the Nimonic 263 material with a copper tool electrode with a subsequent evaluation of surface and subsurface changes in this material. The wear of the tool electrode is also examined with the conclusion highlighting combination of machined material and tool electrode material behave in different working conditions and how the surface layer of machined material is affected.
