Geocaching Support on Pocket PCs with GPS

Modern technologies of pocket computers (personal digital asistents, PDA) and navigation systems - how to combine them to have a fun? This is the question, that this work tries to answer. In the first few chapters, the work informs reader about the GPS technology, about Geocaching stash hunting game and about technology of pocket computers. A Concept and implementation of WMGeo program, which could be the Geocaching solution for the PocketPC, is presented.

This diploma thesis deals with the development of a tool for automatic integration tests creation. In the theoretical part, the already available tools for automatic testing are described. The main part of the thesis is focused on design, implementation and integration of the tool for creation of integration tests. Part of the work is also design and configuration of virtual environment for running created integration tests. The application is then tested on an example.

Information System for Geocaching

The work contains presentation of the Geocaching game, mainly from the view of an information system. It contains study of existing applications with their advantages and disadvantages. There is a specification of new application, that should solve major disadvantages of existing products in second part of the work. Design of such application, that meets the requirements, follows. The application is implemented, which is described in following chapters, with the aim to target specific problems that were solved during the implementation. There is summary and future plans cotained in the closing chapter.

Greece and the Eurozone

This thesis is a complex overview into the nature and causes of the Greek crisis. It inquires lost competitiveness in Greece and the role of the Eurozone in this process. It is a deep analysis covering wide range of issues regarding Greek crisis: creation of the Eurozone as an optimal currency area, Greek structural problems, Eurocage problem, and cheap credit boom resulting in overconsumption and welfare state creation. Moreover, it offers unorthodox explanation of the Greek crisis through the Austrian monetary business cycle theory. Final part discuss outcomes of this crisis and possible solutions. Its purpose is to offer complex information and knowledge about Greek crisis to both, professionals and noon-professionals. Its findings are that bad institutional set up of the Eurozone since its establishment is the main cause behind current crisis.

Differences in the init systems of Linux

The bachelor thesis deals with the differences in writing scripts for particular init systems used in different Linux distributions. The thesis also describes basic init systems used for these distributions. The main part of this thesis is focused on the methodology of writing scripts in following init systems: System V init, SystemD and Upstart including several scripts which show differences between these systems. Collected results are used for the comparison of chosen init systems and the best init system is selected.
