Electromyography in therapy
Janoušek, Oto ; Hrubeš, Jan (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The Master’s thesis describes electromyographic methods and it is focused on one of them - myofeedback. There are described principle, realization and application of myofeedback in this thesis. There is explained positive influence of using therapeutic games in therapeutic process. The diploma thesis deals with a realization and description of MFB-Amos apllication which allows to upgrade an electromyograph by myofeedback enabling of using the therapeutic games. Application allows measure of EMG signal and consecutive analysis, and offers three therapeutic games.
Simulation of dose distribution irradiation
Večeřa, Petr ; Hlaváč, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This project deals with the issue of simulation of dose irradiation. This principle is used in a radiotherapeutic device known as a Leksell Gamma Knife for the treatment of intracranial tumours. With regard to the theoretical observations obtained by studying this device, the project suggests the use of analytical geometry for the creation of a mathematical model for calculation of the intensity in the rayed area. A demonstration program Leksell_xvecer08 has been created for this model in a MatLab software background, which enables the user to change various input arguments and simulate a picture of the dosage spread in the target scanned areas.
Electroencephalography and audio-visual stimulation
Hrozek, Jan ; Hlaváček, Antonín (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with questions of scanning electric activity of brain,¬ so-called electroencephalograph (undermentioned EEG), methods of audiovisual stimulation (undermentioned AVS) and a data-measurement processing. Theoretical part of the thesis is engaged in a theory of EEG signal creation, history and even in current methods of purchasing and processing of the EEG signal, theory of AVS and a theory of biofeedback. For measuring EEG signal with or without an application of AVS methods has been used EEG diagnostic device by Alien company. Its attributes are described in the thesis as well. For elaboration and analysis has been created a programme aplication EEG_xhroze00.fig which realizes frequency spectrum analysis using Fast Fourier Transform algorithm (FFT) and another programme aplication brain_mapping.fig for mapping activity of brain using designed algorithm.
Dynamic time warping in biosignal processing
Novobilský, Petr ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The thesis deals with one of the non-linear methods for signal processing - dynamic time warping (DTW). The method observes shape changes, which should be used in biomedical signals processing. The thesis involves the method description and consecution for finding DTW optimal way. The method is applied on the number series in the edutainment program, on the group of simulated signals and real electrocardiograms (ECG). ECG recordings were gained by performing experiments on the Masaryk University and their aim was clarifying the influence of voltage-sensitive dye on the heart tissue. One-lead ECG was described in time domain, frequency domain, time-frequency domain and subsequently remitted to DTW algorithm. The method outcomes evaluates the diversity rate of ECG signals obtained in each experiment stages. During the data evaluation were followed up the changes in process of the tension-sensible paint application and the stage of scouring toward control. The difference of elaborating signals group was verified in the time domain (37,5 %), in the frequency domain (75 %) and in the time-frequency domain (25 %). However, due to the small data group was not possible to explicitly approve the activity of voltage-sensitive dye on the heart tissue and to determinate limiting value of minimum algorithm way DTW for each heart round electrocardiogram classification. In the more data group analysis it is supposed to manifest the trend of growth heart round ECG differences in the stage of staining toward the stage of scouring.
Cluster analysis in biosignal processing
Kalous, Stanislav ; Archalous, Tomáš (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with cluster analysis for long-term electrocardiograms (ECG) clustering. The linear filtration is used for ECG preprocessing. The ECG sign segmenting in single heart cycles is based on the detection QRS complex and consequently to an application of dynamic time warping algorithms. To an application of all these mentioned processes and to results interpretation, a program called Cluster analysis has been created in the Matlab background. The results of this diploma thesis confirm that cluster analysis is able to distinguish cardiac arrhythmias which are typical with their shape distinctness of normal heart cycles.
Biofeedback in therapy
Ticháček, Aleš ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
Diploma thesis – the Biological feedback in therapy deals with electromyography (EMG), investigative techniques based on electromyography, myofeedback applications and intention controlled myofeedback (IMF therapy). Electromyography is described on principal and there are used electrodes presented. In investigative methods are mentioned their basic progress at investigation by the help of elektromyography. Next are present artifacts, which in the elektromyography signal values. For myofeedback I worked up basic study. Myofeedback is based principle in IMF therapy. The effect of IMF therapy was verified with synchronized signal electroencephalograph (EEG) and EMG. In concrete I worked with movement-related cortical potentials (MRCP) components and Bereitschaftspotential (BP). BP presents highlight component from MRCP and alone BP precluding fulfillment movement. It was tested on metering, that BP occur before executed movement. Idea IMF therapy is correct.
Brick Building Reconstruction
Kolářová, Jana ; Bažant,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on reconstruction of brick apartment houses in terms of static load capacity. The thesis summarizes the requirements and information to evaluate the current state of brick buildings, contains both theoretical and practical calculations to assess the load capacity of masonry elements, and suggests possible measures for structures in unsatisfactory conditions.
Humour in advertisement
Melounová, Lenka ; Kašparová, Eva (advisor) ; Kolářová, Jana (referee)
The Bachelor Thesis Humour in advertisement is focused on creating humorous advertisements. The Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is about advertisement, psychology of advertisement, emotions and emotional appeals that are used in advertising, primarily appeal humour. The practical part includes analysis of the survey focused on the effectiveness of humour in advertisements, analysis of selected campaign and the results of own survey.
Marketing coommunication of selected companies
Kolářová, Jana ; Filipová, Alena (advisor) ; Zeman, Jiří (referee)
This thesis deals with an analysis of marketing communication in two selected companies operating multiplexes. It is Premiere Cinemas Czech s.r.o and Cinestar s.r.o. The thesis is devided into a theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part focuses on marketing mix of services and particularly communication mix. Practical part compares marketing mix of both companies, their differences in individual parts and it aims at the tools of communication mix, especially sales support tools. This work also includes a questionnaire survey investigating whether respondents distinguish between individual companies and if they know and use sales support tools of multiplexes. Some recommendations have been suggested based on this.
Integration of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic with the focus on Prague
Nguyen Thi, Thanh Truc ; Kašparová, Eva (advisor) ; Kolářová, Jana (referee)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyze subsequent integration of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic with the focus on Prague. Moreover, the thesis deals with the impacts of this integration. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part I am trying to describe the history of the arrival of Vietnamese citizens to the Czech Republic and their subsequent integration. In the practical part I have used a document analysis, secondary analysis and semi-structured interview to clarify the situation. The collected data is interpreted on a theoretical background. To sum up, the outcome of this thesis will enable the reader to better understand Vietnamese people living in the Czech Republic
