Development of Psycho-motor Skills in Juveniles and School Maturity
Křížová, Věra ; Vančata, Václav (advisor) ; Ehler, Edvard (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of psychomotor development in middle and late childhood, school maturity, its aspects and methods of testing. A total of five aims are set and six hypotheses are assigned to them. Two aims determine how much experience, training and home preparation influence the results of school maturity tests, which are based on the evaluation of individual aspects of psychomotor development. Furthermore, the aim is to find out whether psychomotor development occurs uniformly in all its areas and whether the factor of body height is related to the level of development. The last two goals are tied directly to the tested group, which consists of children aged 6-8 years living in the district of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. It is determined whether these children are mature enough to enter the 1st grades of primary school and whether there is any connection between the parents' decision to postpone their children's entry into primary school and their results in school maturity tests. To meet these goals, a cross-sectional study is used, which consists of two components. Face-to-face testing of children aged 6-8 years in the facilities of a kindergarten in the period April and May 2023, when these children participate in three school maturity tests (each based on monitoring a...
Taxation of Students Incomes
Hromádková, Adéla ; Křížová, Věra (referee) ; Brychta, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on taxation of students incomes. The first part includes theoretical starting points and defines the structural elements of personal income tax in the Czech Republic and the rules for social and health insurance premiums. The second part contains the pros and cons of particular employment relationships and the performance of the economic activity of a self-employed person. In the last part, there is a complex model example that points out the possibilities of tax optimalization that are available to taxpayers.
Analysis of reaction products of phthalaldehyde with selected amino acids
Křížová, Věra ; Čabala, Radomír (advisor) ; Cvačka, Josef (referee)
This thesis focuses on analysis of reaction products of phthalaldehyde with selected amino acids using the combination of high-performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. Only one product with dihydroisoindole structure is formed in the case of simple amino acids (glycine, glycine ethyl ester, alanine, α-aminobutyric acid, valine, leucine and isoleucine). Reactions of phthalaldehyde with amino acids with two amino groups (lysine, asparagine, glutamine and arginine) yield different types of compounds. Main products are formed by the interaction of both of the amino groups with one molecule of phthalaldehyde. Apart from this type of product, these reactions also result in formation of the expected analogous structures of dihydroisoindoles. Moreover, the formation of products containing one molecule of amino acid and two molecules of phthalaldehyde is not excluded. The products were structurally analysed by the use of high-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. Reaction products of phthalaldehyde with α-aminobutyric acid, valine, leucine, isoleucine and lysine were isolated and further analyses such as electron ionisation with double focusing sector analyser and nuclear magnetic resonance were performed. Pieces of information resulting from the analysis of...
Personnel Standards of Quality in Social Services in selected facilities
Bezstarostiová, Leona ; Sedláková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Křížová, Věra (referee)
The Diploma thesis is called Personnel Standards of Quality in Social Services in selected facilities. Theoretical part of the Diploma thesis deals with Standards of Quality in Social Services with emphasis on Personnel Standards and with Human Resource Management in Social services in context of these Standards. Practical part of the Diploma thesis defines the objective of the Diploma thesis and its partial targets, which are followed by four research questions. The analysis of primary and secondary data serves to answer the research questions. The results of the Diploma thesis show how the selected Retirement Homes in Plzeň-město uses Personnel Standards of Quality in Social Services for Human Resource Management. The recommendations ensue for the selected facilities in the field of Human Resource Management from this Diploma thesis.

Preparation and characterization of a bacterial protein YddV, a globin-coupled oxygen sensor diguanylate cyclase
Křížová, Věra ; Martínková, Markéta (advisor) ; Man, Petr (referee)
Heme-containing proteins are very important for proper function of various organisms, both prokaryotic and eukaryotic. The most well-known ones are myoglobin, hemoglobin and various peroxidases and cytochromes. The group of heme-containing proteins was recently extended by a new type of proteins, which are called heme-containing sensor proteins. These proteins consist of two domains, sensor domain, which is able to detect a signal (either a molecule of heme or a molecule of gas), and functional domain, which is often an enzyme or a transcriptional factor. Activity of the functional domain depends on the concentration of signal molecule, which binds to the sensor domain, which then causes change of its structure. Consequently, change of structure of the sensor domain also leads to change of structure of the functional domain. Heme-containing sensor proteins can be further divided into two smaller groups: heme sensor proteins and gas sensor proteins. Heme sensor proteins share a lot of features, for example binding of heme to a thiolate residue from cysteine, CP motif, etc. Gas sensor proteins detect a molecule of gas, especially oxygen, carbon monoxide and nitrogen monoxide. There have already been conducted various studies focusing on heme-containing sensor proteins, however, the mechanism of signal...
Seniors Look to Today's Society.
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Věra
This thesis discusses the perspective of older people in today's society, their views on today's time and their eventual wishes for the future. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of old age, the definition of diseases associated with aging, ageism and its resources, as well as media coverage seniors, elderly abuse, and last but not least, the company, its structure and the impact on seniors. In the practical part the qualitative research method, retrospective analysis, carried out using semi-standardized interview techniques. Participants were seniors aged 65 to 85 years, selected purposeful selection in town Milevska, township and village Sepekov Chyšky in South Bohemia. The aim was to explore the views of older people living in their families and look back at a career, find out their attitude to today's society, to today's values and beliefs compared with the period in which he grew up. The results show that the views of older people are much nerůzní, although each respondent was another age, sex, residence, occupation and different hobbies. It seems, therefore, that this really did not have any influence respondents' answers. It was found that the majority of the elderly during life planned aged modest life as previously lived and more time for hobbies. The big problem intergenerational differences seniors perceived lack of understanding by the young, as they do not like too rapid developments and technological advances forward, faces frivolity, and emphasize that they always knew how to enjoy the simple things, which today few people can do. Regarding the comparison of positives today's society and times of their youth, seniors sees as a positive factor in more opportunities for the labor market and more opportunities to spend your leisure time. We should remove the company's rapid development forward and the various achievements of the time, which they see as too much choice in food, in the types of mobile phones, etc. There would leave equipment such as a car or a mobile phone, which is for life today almost a necessity. Unfortunately, a lot of things they can not do anything because of it, he claims, have the right and sufficient powers.
