Evaluation of forest calamites using the remote sensing data
Chrást, Josef ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jedlička, Jan (referee)
Evaluation of forest calamities using the remote sensing data Abstract The objective of this paper is to evaluate possibilities of medium-spatial resolution satellite data assimilation for monitoring of the forest disturbances. The aim of the study is to monitore the bark beetle outbreak in the Šumava Mountains. For this purpose were used eight MERIS scenes from 2002 to 2009. Spectral response of the damaged spruce stands has been analyzed on the based of the values of selected vegetation indices (NDVI, LAI, LAI.Cab, fCover, fAPAR and three newly defined indices) and their temporal progress. The results were compared with values for healthy forests. The values of spectral indices have shown the ability of data MERIS to monitor forest disturbances at regionale scale.
User Interface for HDR Tone Mapping System
Jedlička, Jan ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to improve graphical user interface of Tone Mapping Studio(TMS) program. This program is being developed on the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Brno University of Technology (BUT) by doc. Ing. Martin Čadík, PhD. The current program is using framework Qt3 , which is old and not compatible with modern libraries. This program has to be rewritten to support current version Qt5. I will analyze other programs in the area of working with High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and video. Changes for improving the interface will be proposed and UX tests will be done. Second part will consist of comparing plug-ins for converting images to grayscale that already exists in TMS.
Custom Intellectual Property Block For Lblock Cipher
Jedlička, Jakub
This paper presents the implementation of a lightweight cryptographic cipher for a hardware-constrained device. Describes the basic problems of lightweight cryptography on the field programmablegate array (FPGA) and its one representative cipher LBlock. Furthermore deals with theimplementation of the LBlock cipher in a very high speed integrated circuit hardware description language(VHDL) on the FPGA. The LBlock cipher is used with a custom advanced extensible interface(AXI) wrapper for the creation of a custom intellectual property (IP) block. This IP block will be usedto cipher files on the development board ZYBO Z7-20 powered by Zynq-7000. The final part of thepaper describes testing of the IP block with a defined set of the inputs and the outputs are validatedwith the correct outputs.
Hardware for lightweight cryptographic implementation
Jedlička, Jakub ; Cíbik, Peter (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of lightweight cryptography and the implementation of a selected cipher on a field programmable gate array (FPGA). Thesis first deals with the theory, where hardware elements, general cryptography and lightweight cryptography are described with focus on the LBlock and PRESENT ciphers. It then describes the selection of a cipher type and then the selection of a particular lightweight cryptography cipher. Next the LBlock cipher is selected, implemented, and tested as a custom intellectual property (IP) block using a hardware descriptive language for very fast integrated circuits (VHDL). This block is used in the block design to implement the encryptor on the ZYBO-Z7 development board. The input and output data handling is implemented on the Zynq-7000 processing system chip, which passes the data to the programmable logic. Finally this communication and implementation is described where the operational modes used for the LBlock cipher are cipher feedback mode and output feedback mode. For these operational modes, measurements are made to determine the encryption speed of the data stored on the microSD card and the pitfalls resulting from this encryption are described.
The Choice of Forms of Business Income Tax
Jedlička, Jiří ; Kopřiva, Jan (referee) ; Svirák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with selecting of appropriate legal form of business in the economic environment of the Czech Republic from the sight of income tax. Three types of business corporations and natural persons’ business form are chosen for the comparison. Based on input data, the amount of income tax of these forms of business is determined. The results are evaluated, and the most advantageous option is recommended.
Noncontact temperature measurements using luminescent materials
Jedlička, Jindřich ; Nebojsa, Alois (referee) ; Ligmajer, Filip (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with noncontact temperature measurement using luminescent materials. In the theoretical part of the thesis, luminescent materials were selected on the basis of a literature review with respect to sensitivity and operating temperature range. In the experimental part of the thesis, photoluminescence of CdSe/ZnS and GaAs quantum dots for various temperatures was measured and the relative change of luminescence parameters such as emission peak position, intensity, intensity ratio of two emission peaks, and lifetime of luminescence were determined from the measurements in agreement with expectations according to the literature. Achieving high spatial resolution would be made possible by measuring cathodoluminescence, where the luminescence spectra are obtained with an order of magnitude higher spatial resolution. These measurements and the influence of electron beam on the luminescence quality of selected materials will be subject of further experimental study.
Preparation and management of the contract in the construction company
Jedlička, Jan ; Vala, Jiří (referee) ; Nový, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to describe preparation and management of a contract in a building company using the tools of project control. The thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part, where the problem is first explained theoretically and then practically on the chosen contract. This contact is a block of flats in Stepanov, which was realized in the years 2017 and 2018 by the building company Moravostav Brno, a. s.
Preparation of GeSn nanostructures
Jedlička, Jindřich ; Voborný, Stanislav (referee) ; Kolíbal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the methods of preparation of GeSn nanowires. In the theoretical part of the thesis the band structure of solid states is described and the interesting properties of GeSn material are mentioned. The growth mechanism of nanowires and methods of preparation of GeSn nanowires are introduced. In the experimental part of the thesis the effusion cell for Sn deposition was assembled and the testing and calibration were performed.
War od Drug Cartels in Mexico and Columbia
Jedlička, Jan ; Krausz Hladká, Malvína (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyzes and compares the fight against the drug cartels in Colombia and Mexico from the point of view of US foreign policy. The first section contains a general description of the historical development of drug trafficking in both countries, which is crucial for a better understanding of the whole issue and subsequently examines the role of the United States in either case. The last section describes and compares connections and differences that can be found in both countries.
