3D RECONSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED SETTLEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL POVLTAVÍ

3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Steel load-bearing structure of an industrial hall

The bachelor´s thesis contains design of one-aisle industrial hall with span of 24 m, length of 72 m and height of the holder of craneway 9 m. In hall there are two cranes, first one with load capacity of 32/8 t and second one with load capacity of 12,5 t. The roof structure is designed as a system of truss girders and truss purlins. Spatial rigidity of the structure is secured by bracing. Main structural material is steel S235 JR+AR ČSN EN 10025-2. Drawings contain flor wiew and sections of hall and manufacturing drawings of truss.

National cultures research and their comparison

This thesis focuses on intercultural comparison issue. In the first part, essential parts of cultural comparison are discussed, as the consideration of future way and meaning of national cultures. Next, the relationship between national and organizational culture is described and recent intercultural researches are assessed. On this theoretical framework, the Swedish culture research is based. The main benefit of the research is the subjective comparison method that describe in detail position of Swedish culture compared with another. At the end, the Swedish national culture results are gently transferred to organizational culture. The goal of this paper is contemporary assessment of Swedish culture and topics suggested for next research.

Possibilities of the usage of the Japanese System and Style to the Czech Management Reality

Japanese culture differs enormously from its European counterpart. When a Japanese subsidiary is established in the Czech Republic, there are many issues to resolve. Communication is a significant assumption to success. In addition, Czech managers consider communication with the Japanese as an inherent weakness to corporate culture. This dissertation supports and demonstrates that sustainable operating effectiveness and competitiveness deploying Japanese management practice within Czech companies is feasible.
